    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner enabling a configuration of a redundant system without causing a large increase in installation volume, and to provide an air conditioning system including the air conditioner.SOLUTION: The air conditioning system includes a housing with a plurality of blowoff ports and a plurality of flow passages independently formed correspondingly to the respective blowoff ports, one or a plurality of coils arranged in the housing for circulating a heating medium between a heat source and itself, and installed across the flow passage, each fan arranged in the housing with the blowoff ports correspondingly to the respective blowoff ports so as to blow off air heat-exchanged with the heating medium from the heat source from the blowoff ports via the coils, a backflow preventing mechanism for preventing a backflow of an air flow arranged correspondingly to the respective blowoff ports, a plurality of driving sources arranged correspondingly to the respective fans so as to drive the respective fans, and a control device capable of controlling the respective driving sources individually. The air conditioning system with a redundant configuration can be achieved by enabling the individual control of the plurality of the driving sources.
