摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To certainly carry out propulsion of a vessel coping with various navigation purposes and feeding of power to an in-vessel loading even when a damage relating to a main engine and a generation engine is generated.
SOLUTION: A propeller shaft 3 is driven by an output of the main engine 4 and a generator motor 5 and generation power of a main generator 7 driven by the generation engine 6 and the generator motor 5 is condensed in a condenser 8. The power fed by the condenser 8, the main generator 7 and the generator motor 5 is fed to the in-vessel loading 20 and the generator motor 5. In the case of damage of the generation engine 6, after the main engine 4 is subjected to idling operation, communication of the main engine 4 with the propeller shaft 3 is disconnected, the generator motor 5 is driven by the main engine 4 to generate the power and the power is fed to the in-vessel loading 20. During stopping of the main engine 4, if the condensed amount of the condenser 8 does not satisfy a defined value, the main engine 4 is subjected to idling operation to drive the generator motor 5. If the condensed amount is the defined value or higher, the power is fed to the in-vessel loading 20 by the condenser 8.

To prevent the slack or over-tension of the power-supply cable 6 due to a change of a height-position relationship between the ship 2 and the quaywall 3, an auto tension mechanism 11 is provided on the winding drum 7 for controlling the tension of the power-supply cable 6 to be kept always constant by the constant torque control of an inverter 10.
