    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake basin which takes in even a small amount of rainwater and is easy to inspect and clean, and a rainwater storage system utilizing the same.SOLUTION: A scupper 24 and an intake 26 which are partitioned off by a dam 36 are provided to a bottom part 22 of an intake basin 20, a filter 70 is arranged on the intake 26, and a conduit plate 54 which guides rainwater entering from a down-pipe 12 to a filter body 72 is provided in the intake basin 20. The rainwater passes through a hose 82 to be stored in a tank 90. A bypass is provided in the intake basin 20 and an entrance for rainwater and the scupper 24 are thereby arranged coaxially to maintain a drain function. A tip part 56 of the conduit plate 54 is in a saw-tooth shape and suppresses trailing to take in even a small amount of rainwater. The filter 70 is detachable from the intake basin 20, and has its clogging easily confirmed and is easy to clean. The intake basin 20 is arranged at a height of water filling level of the tank 90 to eliminate the means for overflow, and a tank put on the market is usable as the tank 90.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake basin and a rainwater storage system using the intake basin surely taking in and storing even a small amount of rainwater and easily inspected and cleaned.
      SOLUTION: A bottom part 22 of the intake basin 20 is provided with a drain port 24 and an intake 26 partitioned by a weir 36. A filter 70 is arranged on the intake 26, and a water guide plate 54 guiding rainwater entering from a down pipe 12 to a filter body 72 is provided inside the intake basin 20. The taken-in rainwater is stored in a plurality of tanks connected using a connection cap having an air ejection port and a hose connection port. An inlet and a drain port 24 of rainwater are coaxially arranged to maintain a drain function by providing a detour inside the intake basin 20. Since the tip 56 of the water guide plate 54 is formed in serrated shape, backflow is suppressed to take in even a small amount of rainwater. Confirmation of plugging and cleaning are facilitated as the filter 70 is detachable from the intake basin 20. Further, a portable tank on the market can be used by the use of the connection cap 100.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a caster capable of easily releasing a brake only when movement is required.
      SOLUTION: The caster 20 comprises a housing 22 turnable with respect to a fixation shaft 50, a pair of wheels 38A, 38B, a rotating shaft 46, a wire 66, an engagement member 70, a spring 82 held inside the fixation shaft 50, and an oscillation pad 90. On the back face of the oscillation pad 90, teeth 94 capable of being engaged with recessed parts 48A of projecting/recessed shapes 48 formed on the inner side faces of the wheels 38A, 38B are provided. The free end side of the oscillation pad 90 is pressed downward by the end part of the spring 82 protruded from the fixation shaft 50. The end part of the wire 66 is engaged with the free end side of the oscillation pad 90 via the engagement member 70. When the wire 66 is drawn upwardly, the teeth 94 of the oscillation pad 90 are separated from the recessed parts 48A of the wheels 38A, 38B, so as to release the brake.
