    • PURPOSE: To enable an upper bed frame to be moved up and down with a small force and with ease by providing a bed with a structure that both sides can rotate around the fulcrum of the upper bed frame as its rotational center while both sides are connected to each other so as to balance both sides in the state that the weight of a middle frame is exerted on one end of the upper bed frame and a holding device to hold the upper bed frame at a desired angle. CONSTITUTION: An upper bed frame 1 and a middle frame 2 are connected to each other, and provided with a structure that each of the connected locations can rotate around each of fulcrums as rotational axes while sliding. To move the upper bed frame, as the weight of the middle frame 2 is exerted on one end of the upper bed frame 1, both sides are kept in balance around their fulcrum 4 as a center. In addition, as the point of application of a force to move the upper bed frame 1 is located farther from the fulcrum 4 than the end of the upper bed frame 1 on which the weight of the middle frame 2 is exerted, it is possible to move the upper bed frame 1 with a smaller force and with ease.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the quake sensitive automatic blocking type gas tap with simple structure by a structure wherein the blocking of the gas tap is performed by th rotation of a core started by the disengagement of the locking of a spring energized in advance, the locking of which is also disengaged by the disengagement of the locking of a weight through the rotation of a core when the weight detects the quake having the magnitude larger than a fixed value. CONSTITUTION:The core as a whole is attracted downward so as to adhere the weight 8 to a magnet 9 by pulling a core shaft 5 downward, while winding up the spring 2 by pulling motion of the core shaft 5 and to engage a lower brake plate 3 with a pawl (not shown). The weight 8 rolls by earthquake and, when the earthquake has a magnitude larger than the predetermined seismic intensity, for example the intensity of 5, the weight 8 rolls off the magnet 9. As a result, the core containing the core shaft 5 is moved upward by the energized force of a spring (not shown), resulting in disengaging the locking of the lower brake plate 3 and consequently rotating the core by means of the spring 2. The rotation of the core is followed by the rotation of an upper coupling plate 1, which pivots the gas tap to close through an adaptor (not shown) connected by vanes 7. In such a manner as described above, the gas tap can be automatically closed by detecting earthquake with the simple structure.

    • PURPOSE:To cool a cooling can utilizing the heat of vaporization of water by forming the upper face of the cooling can with an air intake opening and a cool air take- out opening into a bellows shape increasing its surface area, covering said upper face with a water absorbing material and supplying water there. CONSTITUTION:Water supplied from a tank 2 through a pipe 3 flows into the concave parts of the bellows-shaped upper part of a cooling can 1 and is stored there. The water gathered in these concave parts is sucked up by cloth 4 and evaporated through this cloth 4. As the evaporated water takes away heat of vaporization, the cooling can 1 covered with the cloth 4 is cooled and the temperature inside is also reduced. By so doing, air entered from the opening of the cooling can 1 is cooled in the cooling can 1 and sent from a cool air take-out opening 5 to desired places. As water absorbed by the cloth 4 is evaporated, water is supplied successively from the pipe 3 and thereafter the same action is repeated.
