摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a certified personal recognition card from being used without certification while using a public key cryptosystem. SOLUTION: A password, which is not secret, is enciphered into digital signature while using the personal key of a key pair in a public key cryptosystem. Next, a password 20 and the digital signature are encoded and stored in the magnetic strip of a card or any other storage device. When executing a transaction, it is necessary to show the digital signature of the received card is generated from the password 20 of the received card. It is suitable the password 20 contains the digital photograph of a certified card owner so as to be displayed on a transaction terminal. Thus, the operator of the transaction terminal can confirm the identification of the card owner with a visual examination.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polarizing polyvlnylene sheet having high resistance against influences of the environment which can produce irregularity and speckles in a polarizer product, by adding a dehydration catalyst on the interface between an oriented sheet and a supporting body. SOLUTION: A polymer sheet 10U before treatment is uniaxially stretched in a hot air oven 200. After orienting molecules, the oriented sheet 10O is carried to the nip formed by pressurizing rollers 250 and 260, where the sheet is joined on the interface with a carrier web 12. An acid soln. is dropped from the reservoir 500 to spread on the interface between the sheet 10O and the web 12. The acid is supplied as a catalyst necessary for dehydration in the conversion process in the downstream of the process. The laminated body 10B containing the acid is carried to an oven and heated to a temp. where dyeing due to polarization appears on the sheet. The oriented hydroxylated linear polymer molecules are converted into dichroic molecules of polyvinylene.

SOLUTION: When the electronic image is printed, the spatial light modulator device 20 is inserted in the negative film holder 18 of the conventional photographic printing machine 10 instead of the photographic negative film. The device 20 is provided with a spatial light modulator so as to modulate light from a lamp house 12 by an electronic image signal received from a computer 24 and generate the carrying light of the image. Then, the photographic paper is exposed through a lens 26 and a shutter 28. In such a way, the electronic image formed by an electronic camera and the like is made to be a hard copy in the same way as a photographic film.
