摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a expanded vermiculite by which the time required for reaching a desired expansion rate can be reduced and the pH value of the expanded vermiculite can be more neared to a neutral value. SOLUTION: The expanded vermiculite is manufactured as follows: concentrated sulfuric acid or concentrated hydrochloric acid of 0.05-0.5 mol per 1,000 g of a vermiculite raw ore and a iron compound of 0.1-0.5 wt.% per the weight of the vermiculite raw ore are added to and mixed with the vermiculite raw ore; after the mixture is kept for a certain time at the temperature of 40-100 deg.C, it is cooled; and then the mixture is expanded by adding hydrogen peroxide water solution thereto.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a formed product of an artificial soil sufficiently reduced in weight and excellent in soil holding power even when water is permeated. SOLUTION: This formed product 1 of an artificial soil for greening a building comprises a porous formed product consisting essentially of a granular artificial soil material containing swellable grains such as vermiculite and a water-resistant polyvinyl alcohol and obtained by swelling the grains, forming the grains and retaining the shape of voids formed in the artificial soil material with a cured product of the water-resistant polyvinyl alcohol. A water-resistant polyvinyl alcohol having >=1,700 degree of polymerization and >=98 mol% degree of saponification is preferably used as the water-resistant polyvinyl alcohol or a modified polyvinyl alcohol in which hydrcphobic groups are introduced into the molecular chain is preferably used as the water-resistant polyvinyl alcohol. The panels 2a and 2b for greening the wall surface are obtained by holding the formed product of the artificial soil with a frame unit and installing an engaging part 3 engageable with the wall to be greened in the frame unit.

SOLUTION: A fit member 21 is unitedly provided on an upper cross frame member 20 disposed between both ends of surface plates 11, 11 to project from the upper surfaces of the cross member, and the lower end face of a hanging wall 10 is formed with a recess 22 in which the fit member 21 is fitted. When a tool 24 is inserted into an inserting hole 19 to engage with an engaging hole in a horizontal shaft of a bevel gear 17 and rotated in one way while the press member 15 is pulled in a wall panel 7 and the fit member 21 of the wall 7 is opposed to the recess 22 on the hanging wall 10 to be temporarily provided on a floor surface rail 23, a male screw rod 12 abuts against the floor surface rail 23. When the tool is further rotated, the whole wall panel 7 is lifted and the fit member 21 is inserted in the recess 22 on the hanging wall 10 to be held not to fall down widthwise. This operation is carried out vertically to fix the panel 7 completely.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-combustible building material, even if polyvinyl alcohol is added largely as possible for improving its workability on cutting, which has improved mechanical strength corresponding to the addition efficiency thereof, further has a smooth surface of a formed body, and has good appearance. SOLUTION: A formed body essentially consisting of cement, and containing 5.5 to 10.0 wt.% polyvinyl alcohol, and further containing a hydroxide such as magnesium hydroxide and aluminum hydroxide releasing water on thermal decomposition is provided. This formed body is impregnated with an aqueous solution of boric acid or an aqueous solution of borate, and is further thermally hardened to obtain the cement based non-combustible building material. The formed body is heated while infiltrating an aqueous solution of 0.1 to 3.0 wt.% boric acid or borate into the surface layer of the formed body, so that polyvinyl alcohol is not eluted, and its appearance is made satisfactory. Further, since the formed body is hardened after the aqueous solution is sufficiently melted to the inside of the formed body, its mechanical strength sufficiently increases.

Subsequently, a plurality of the sheet-like materials are stacked to be heated and pressed to be fused integrally to produce a heat-resistant insulating laminate.
