摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform good sealing in the case where pressure is excessive and quickly compensate the pressure in the case where the pressure is negative by disposing the base area of a lip seal providing the base area and a rotational symmetry lip on one of two elements. SOLUTION: A safety valve for a timepiece 10 is rotationally symmetrical to an axis 11, and provided with a continuous hollow sleeve 12. A cylinder 36 movable in the axial direction is provided on the sleeve 12. An annular free space 54 delineated by two contact faces 48 and a cylinder jacket forming area 50 houses a lip seal 56 provided with a rotational symmetry lip 58 having elasticity. In the case where the pressure of an inner space 16 is excessive, the lip 58 extended from a base area 70 separates from a surface area 29 for the purpose of adjusting a pressure difference between the inner space 16 and a circumferential environment 18. In the case where the pressure of the circumferential environment is excessive, the lip 58 is further strongly pressed for the surface area 29 for the purpose of sealing the inner space 16 to the circumferential environment 18.

SOLUTION: A threaded crown 10 is rotationally symmetrical to an axis 11, and provided with a continuous hollow sleeve 12 pressure-fitted in a housing 14. The tube 62 of a small diameter is inserted in the sleeve 12, movable in the axial direction with respect to the sleeve 12 and fixed on a cover 63. A lip seal is provided with a rotational symmetry elastic lip and a base area. The lip is brought into contact with the cylinder jacket shaped area 58 of two elements 62, 63, extends from the base area. In the case where the pressure of an inside space 16 is excessive, the lip separates from a surface area for the purpose of adjusting a pressure difference between the inside space 16 and a circumferential environment 18. In the case where the pressure of the circumferential environment is excessive, the lips is further strongly pressed to the surface area 58 so as to seal the inside space 16 to the circumferential environment 18.
