    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fast cooling tower for melting aqueous soluble components in waste gas conveniently in aqueous solution and rapidly cooling it and provide a method for cooling aqueous solution mixed with high temperature gas. SOLUTION: A fast cooling tower is constituted such that there is provided a gas flow passage where gas fed from an upper gas feeding section 18 flows down through a middle barrel section, a throat section 30 and a diffuser section 50; a gas and liquid mixing section for mixing cooling water fed from outside with gas flowing in the gas flow passage is formed at an upper part of the throat section 30 in the gas flow passage; the gas and liquid mixing section has a water storing segment 40 and the cooling water overflown from the water storing segment 40 is mixed with gas and flows down. Substance contained in the waste gas is changed into aqueous solution through this fast cooling tower to enable some processing such as sedimentation separation and adsorption separation to be carried out fast.

    • PURPOSE:To accelerate the transfer and combustion of the granular material in a combustion furnace by a method wherein a push plate for thrusting the granular material into the furnace is provided on a table in the furnace so as to reciprocate freely whereby the granular material such as fowl dropping containing much water and liable to become agglomerated is thrown into the furnace in sequence by a fixed quantity. CONSTITUTION:A fowl droppings combustion type water heater unit 10 is provided with a hopper 20, a throwout feeder 30, a dry distillation bed 40, a throwout feeder 50, a combustion bed 60, a water heater 70 and an exhaust gas cylinder 80. The hopper 20 is provided with four scraping drums 21 on the side of its gently sloping surface and the throwout feeder 30 is provided below an outlet 202 of the hopper 20. Further, the push plate 31 of the throwout feeder 30 takes reciprocating motions on the table 102 through a reciprocating mechanism. With the above structure, the granular agglometrated fowl droppings containing much water is thrown over the dry distillation bed 40 in sequence by substantially a fixed quantity from an inlet 105 of the combustion furnace by means of the push plate 31 of the reciprocating throwout feeder 30 and then transferred to the combustion bed 60.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to obtain the titled roasters which are free of shortage of air even when the gaps in a fire grate is narrowed by a method wherein the fire grate is formed of several layers of inclined long and short pipes whose ends are aligned with one another on one side and an exhaust gas is supplied from one end of each of the pipes forming the fire grate and discharged from the other end. CONSTITUTION:A roaster 40 is provided with the fire grate 41 formed of several layers of inclined long and short pipes 411 whose ends 4111 are aligned with one another on one side providing gaps among the pipes through rods 43 welded to the pipes, respectively, and a blower 42 is provided so as to supply the exhaust gas introduced from an exhaust gas cylinder 80 to the end 4111 of each of the pipes 411 and to discharge the exhaust gas from the other end 4112 thereof. The roaster 60 is also formed in the like manner. Consequently, the above roaster structure is suitable for the generation of a dry distillation gas and the drying or combustion of a material and even when the gaps among the long and short pipes are made extremely narrow or even when no gap is provided among them, the ventilation of the fire grate is not influenced thereby.
