    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rear view mirror for a vehicle capable of establishing a small-sized rear view mirror body while enhancement of the reliance upon the restriction of the rotating range is well secured. SOLUTION: A mirror base 11 is fixed to a vehicle body, and a mirror housing 13 is held on the mirror base 11 rotatably in the specified range, and a convex peripheral wall 13b having an approximately circular arc section is formed in such a way as constituting part of the housing 13 and surrounding the rotational center Q of the housing 13, while a concave peripheral wall 16 having an approximately circular arc section is formed in such a way as constituting part of the mirror base 11 and confronting the convex peripheral wall 13b, wherein the convex peripheral wall 13b is formed with different radii R3 and R4 from the rotational center Q in such a way that a level difference 13e is formed at the boundary in accordance with the radial difference, and the concave peripheral wall 16 is furnished with an engagement part 16a to be engaged with the level difference 13e in the case the housing 13 rotates for a certain angle in the specified direction and hinder the housing 13 from rotating any farther.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify and miniaturize the structure of a vehicular lamp and reduce the cost thereof. SOLUTION: A retainer 53 with a bulb chamber formed is installed on the back face side of a reflector 26. A rotation driving device 29 is so installed on a bracket 23 for initial aiming that the tangent line direction 58 of an after- mentioned particular point (a reference point) in an arc formed by the rotation locus of the reflector 26 coincides with the traveling direction 59 of a rod 56. The rod 56 carrying out back and forth motion is mounted to the driving device 29, and a spherical part 52 is formed at the tip part of the rod 56. The spherical part 52 is inserted into and engaged with the bulb chamber of the retainer 53. The retainer 53 absorbs the angular displacement and the positional displacement of the spherical part 52 varying according to the inclination of the rotated reflector 26 by relatively moving and rotating the spherical part 52 in the bulb chamber, and makes the rotation control of the reflector 26 smooth.
