    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information providing system capable of clearly separating coded information from other sound (source sound) such as music and voice, even when the source sound exists and sound of the information and the source sound are superposed and input to a terminal.
      SOLUTION: A transmission device 10 of the information providing system 1 transmits various kinds of information, by utilizing frequency in which transmission frequency and its subharmonic are located in a gap between notes of an equal temperament scale, as the transmission frequency of a sound code. In a receiving terminal side, the sound code is extracted and restored by separating it from the source sound by a Fast Fourier Transform circuit 206 and a sound code extracting circuit 207 etc.

      SOLUTION: The information providing system 1 associated with an embodiment disclosed herein comprises: a transmitter 10 that transmits various information items as information of sound pressure vibration utilizing a high audible band of about 12 to 13 kHz in an audible band; a mobile phone 20 as a terminal for receiving the various information items; and a server 50 connected to the transmitter 10 via the Internet 40.
