    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce dimensions and cost and to improve current waveforms that can be supplied to an electric power system, in a wind-power generation system which uses an AC excitation-synchronous generator. SOLUTION: In a method of constituting the excitation-synchronous generator that comprises a rotor, which stores exciting windings in iron-core slots arranged at equal intervals, and a stator, which stores armature windings in the iron-core slots arranged at equal intervals, and in which the exciting windings stored in the rotor are excited by a variable frequency AC exciting device to cause AC electric power of a constant frequency to be generated in the armature windings; the iron-core slots are configured to make a difference between the number of stator slots and that of the rotor slots per two poles become ±6; winding pitch is selected so as to minimize winding factors for 5th and 7th spatial harmonics of the winding factors of the armature windings in the armature windings; and rotor slots are configured to be of a semi-enclosed slot shape so as to become asymmetric in the circumferential direction.     • PURPOSE:To promote efficiency and output of an AC electric machine by forming a common magnetic path of a plurality of circular magnetic paths connected and arranged in the direction of an axis, in the AC electric machine using parametric vibration. CONSTITUTION:Three circular magnetic paths 31-33 are formed of a magnetic material, and they are connected and arranged in the direction of an axis to form a common magnetic path 3. A U-shaped primary side core 1 and secondary side core 2 are such that both ends of each core are connected to both radial end positions at right angles to each other at each end of the common magnetic path 3 mentioned above. A rotor 4 is placed at the inside of the common magnetic path 3 in coaxial. Thus, the common magnetic path 3 is formed by connecting a plurality of circular magnetic paths 31-33 so that magnetic resistance in the axial direction is increased, and magnetic flux amount in the rear is increased. Accordingly, average magnetic flux density is increased, and efficiency is also increased as well. According to the constitution, an AC electric machine having enhanced efficiency and output as an electric motor and an AC generator can be obtained.
