    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy in measuring a moisture content and accuracy in whitening of unhulled glutinous rice by calculating an average moisture content value of the whole grain including grain of high moisture content and grain of low moisture content so far as the unhulled glutinous rice, though in a conventional measurement, the moisture content of unhulled non-glutinous rice is calculated by using a moisture meter while excluding the high moisture content and low moisture content.SOLUTION: This grain drying apparatus includes: an unhulled non-glutinous rice drying setting unit for setting an unhulled non-glutinous rice drying mode; an unhulled glutionous rice dry setting unit for setting an unhulled glutinous rice drying mode; and the moisture meter (20) for measuring a moisture content by measuring the unhulled rice of prescribed grain number one by one. When the unhulled non-glutinous rice drying mode is set, an average moisture content from which moisture contents of high moisture region and low moisture region are excluded, is calculated by the moisture meter (20), and the drying operation is terminated when the average moisture content value reaches a predetermined target moisture content value. When the unhulled glutinous rice drying mode is set, the whole grain is measured by the moisture meter (20) to calculate its average moisture content value, and the drying operation is terminated when the average moisture content value of the whole grain reaches the predetermined target moisture content value.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide facilities capable of improving productivity by continuously mass-producing GABA-enriched brown rice without cracking brown rice.
      SOLUTION: In the cooperative drying preparing facilities, a GABA producing section is disposed to enrich a content of γ-aminobutyric acid included in received rough rice by distributing the humidified warm air thereto, any of rough rice in a finished state of the received rough rice, rough rice in a half-dried state, or rough rice in a raw state is continuously supplied to the GABA producing section, and the humidified warm air is distributed, thus the GABA-enriched rough rice can be continuously and efficiently mass-produced, and the GABA-enriched brown rice can be shipped by hulling and polishing the GABA-enriched rough rice when necessary. Further as the GABA-enriched rough rice can be used as feedstuff for livestock and the like as it is, effects for easing and preventing stress disorder can be expected. Furthermore, a substitute for a part of feedstuff for livestock such as corn which is priced so high recently, can be mass-produced in Japan.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem in display of a graph of a moisture uneven state of a whole of a grain layer in a small display screen of a control panel of a grain drier wherein it is hard to see the display when moisture differences per grain layer are small.
      SOLUTION: The display screen for the grain drier is provided with a storage chamber (10) storing grain, a moisture meter (9) measuring respective representative moisture values (m) of plural portions per set interval from a whole of the storage chamber (10), and the display screen (30) displaying the representative moisture values (m) in a two-dimensional graph. An ordinate of the graph indicates a scale of the grain moisture values, and an abscissa of the graph indicates the measuring portions. An average moisture value (n) of the representative moisture values (m) is displayed as a center value of the scale of the ordinate. A numerical value near the highest representative moisture value and a numerical value near the lowest representative moisture value of the representative moisture values (m) of the measuring portions are respectively displayed as an upper limit value and a lower limit value of the scale of the ordinate.
