CONSTITUTION:A plurality of tanks 4 housing many caps for inserting and fitting cable terminals to an index table 3 are provided in a freely sliding manner, and a moving mechanism 5 for reciprocating each tank back and forth and a moving mechanism 6 for reciprocating each tank in right-left direction are provided. And also an operating mechanism for chucking and extending caps to a cable inserting holes 10 located at both the sides of the tanks 4 and a mechanism for carrying each cap respectively to the cable inserting holes 10 are provided, by which the cap mounting and handling are made much easier and cable terminal treating work can be made more efficient.

In this case, the silicone gel G is a gelatin form of high voltage insulating material made by hardening at a low bridging density by an addition reaction of silicone gel materials A and B making a silicon oil as a basic material, and since it has an excellent thermal and electrical properties, there is no limitation to arrange, an excellent heat resistance and an excellent insulation are obtained, and the reliability is improved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To realize a desired hermetical seal relatively simply by using annular packings of necessary minimum limit by arranging the packings having different diameters adjacently on the periphery of a sealing implement. CONSTITUTION:A cable core 4 has an oil passage 2 at its center, and an insulating sheet is wound on a conductor 1. Three annular packings 11, 12 and 13 are engaged at a predetermined interval on the outer periphery of a sealing implement 7 at a conductor side. The packing 12 having a relatively small diameter is disposed at the intermediate, and the packings 11, 13 having relatively large diameter are arranged at both sides. In order to prevent the packings 11-13 from moving, three annular grooves corresponding to the outer diameters of the packings are opened on the outer periphery of the implement 7. Thus, air leakage amount of the hermetically sealed end of an OF cable can be reduced.

CONSTITUTION:The end face of a mineral insulation cable (MI cable) 19 is formed in the shape of a recessed stepped part, a projecting stepped part, a cone, an inverted cone or others by cutting the end face of insulator powder 13, and an insulating sealer 12 is sealed in outside the end face. Thereafter an insulating cap 10 is fitted in the sealer before it is set, in such a manner that one end of the cap is embedded inside the insulating sealer 12 while the other end thereof is made to project from the insulating sealer 12.
