    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent, by using a method other than a method of attaching magnetic material, a coupling characteristic from deteriorating due to a conductor placed in the vicinity of a noncontact IC card.SOLUTION: A proximity antenna comprises an antenna part 13 for performing radio communication with an external communication device by magnetic coupling, and a conductive plate 14a placed in the vicinity of the antenna part 13 but in an insulated state with the antenna part 13. The conductive plate 14a includes a first opening OP1, a slit SL spanning from the first opening OP1 to an edge of the conductive plate 14a, and a second opening OP2 whose entire circumference is surrounded by the conductive plate 14a. An antenna pattern in the antenna part 13 is placed at a position overlapping with at least one of at least a part of the first opening OP1 and at least a part of the slit SL in planar view.
