    • PURPOSE: To suppress the frosting of an outdoor heat exchanger even when the outdoor air is low temperature by providing a humidifying unit for adsorbing the moisture in the air in the outdoor unit of an air conditioner, and so providing an air exhaust outlet as to move the air after adsorbing to the vicinity of an air suction side at the windward side of a heat exchanger. CONSTITUTION: When an indoor blower 5 is rotated, the indoor air sucked from an indoor suction louver 2 is passed through a heat exchanger 4 to be warmed, and exhausted into a room. When an outdoor blower 15 in an outdoor unit 11 is rotated, heat is derived from the outdoor air sucked from an outdoor suction louver 12, and the air is exhausted from an outdoor exhaust louver 12 to the outdoor. The outdoor air sucked from an outdoor suction port 17 is introduced into a humidifying unit 16, the moisture is adsorbed by a moisture absorbing material to become dry air, which is exhausted from a treated air exhaust outlet 18 via a treated exhaust air passage 51. The dry air fed out of the outlet 18 is exhausted to the vicinity of the suction side of the windward side of an outdoor heat exchanger 14, and brought into contact with the exchanger 14.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a humidifier which efficiently produces steam not containing miscellaneous bacteria, discharges it into the air, and is harmonized with the interior design. CONSTITUTION:A humidifier is constituted of a sheet type steam generator 110, having thin water flow passages 111 obtained by providing with a plurality of partitions 117 and a heating means or a heater arranged on the rear surfaces of the water flow passages 111 to heat the water flow passages, a water feeding mechanism 101 for sending water into the water flow passages 111 of the steam generator 110 and a control unit 107 for controlling the stream generator 110 and the water feeding mechanism 101. In this case, the water flow passages 111 are provided with a thin configuration whereby the heating efficiency of flowing water can be increased and the stream generator 110 is provided with a sheet type configuration whereby the generator 110 can be worked easily so as to have a shape like the leaves of a foliage plant or the like while the water feeding mechanism 101 is shaped into a flower pot or the like whereby the humidifier looks like a foliage plant.

CONSTITUTION:This humidifier which comprises an evaporator 4 made up of a water absorbing material while having a plurality of through holes, a feeder 2 which discharges air passing through the through holes of the evaporator 4 with water being supplied thereto at a blowoff port and a heating means 31 to heat the air passing the through holes. In addition to a first blowing path 21 through a blower 2, the evaporator 4 and a blowoff port 12, a second air feeding path 22 is arranged to connect the blower 2 and the heating means 32 to the blowoff port 12 and not through the evaporator 4. The air blown out through the second blowing path 22, namely, that heated while none passes through the evaporator 4 helps raise the air cooled through the evaporator 4.

An air supplying changing-over part 9 for selecting an air supplying from an indoor side or an outdoor and an air discharging changing-over part 10 for selecting the air discharging from an indoor side or an outdoor side are disposed inside the device. The device is further comprised of a sensing element 1 for sensing temperature and humidity of indoor air and concentration of each of components of air and a control part 12 for controlling a turning-on or a turning-off of the humidifying source, an operation of the blower 3 and controlling the changing-over parts 9 and 10 for the air supplying port or discharging port.

    • PURPOSE:To securely prevent propagation of disinfection in hollow porous members by a method wherein a control device for a humidifier is provided with a controller for shutting off a supplying of water to the hollow porous members by stopping operation of the humidifier device and for operating an air supply device for a specified period of time. CONSTITUTION:As a humidifier operation switch 14 is turned ON, water in a water supplying tank 10 is fed to a water supplying port 2 of hollow porous members 1 through a water supplying pipe 8, supplied into a hollow part of the hollow porous members 1 and retained there. Dried air is supplied by a blower 13 into a space between the hollow porous members 1 in the direction of an arrow B. Water vapor passed through the hollow porous members 1 is contained in air and the humidified air is fed out toward a direction of an arrow C. When the humidifying operation switch 14 is turned OFF, an auxiliary relay 15 and a time limiting relay 16 are operated, a solenoid valve 12 is closed through the auxiliary relays 15 and 15a and the supply of water to the water supplying tank 10 is shut off. A self-temperature controlling type heater 4 or the blower 13 is kept at its operated state only for a specified period of time through the time limiting relays 16 and 16a.
