摘要： PURPOSE:To produce an insoluble anode for electroplating having superior durability at a low cost by specifying the compsn. of at least the electric discharge part of an insoluble anode consisting of Ag, In, Sn and Pb. CONSTITUTION:This insoluble anode for electroplating has a compsn. consisting of 0.5-3.0wt.% Ag, 0.5-3.0wt.% In, 0.1-1.0wt.% Sn and the balance Pb with inevitable impurities in at least the electric discharge part and exhibits superior durability especially in a sulfuric acid-contg. bath. The prescribed amt. of Sn is added to molten Pb to which the prescribed amt. of high m.p. Ag has been added and the prescribed amt. of low m.p. In is further added under temp. control. After the metals are melted, the resulting molten alloy is cast, rolled and finished to obtain the insoluble anode.

摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a plain bearing having excellent heat resistance as well as wear- and corrosion resistance at a high temp. by forming an overlay layer contg. a specific compsn. ratio each of zinc, tin, copper, antimonny, arsenic, indium, etc. and consisting of the balance lead on the surface of the base body. CONSTITUTION:The overlay layer 4 of the plain bearing which is formed by forming a copper or aluminum alloy layer 2 on a half-split backing metal 1 made of steel to form the double layers and forming further the overlay layer 4 on the surface thereof via a nickel plating layer 3 interposed therebetween is constituted by contg. 0.5-10% zinc and further at least one kind of 0.5-25% tin, 0.1-5% copper, 0.1-5% antimony, 0.1-5% arsenic or 0.1-10% indium and consisting of the balance substantially lead. The heat resistance of the above-mentioned overlay layer is thus improved and the deterioration in the wear resistance is obviated even at a high temp. and the corrosion resistance is improved as well.

摘要： PURPOSE:To ensure a simple production of Pb alloy plate having less than 10% of anisotropy by a method wherein a Pb alloy base material including Ca and Sn is subject to solid-solution treatment in a specified range of cooling rate from solid- solution temperature, and then processed by rolling. CONSTITUTION:The Pb alloy base material including Ca: 0.02-0.1wt% and Sn: 0.1-1.0wt% is subject to solid-solution treatment such that cooling rate V ( deg.C/min) is set as shown in the formula and the figure (shaped part). The treated Pb base material is then processed by rolling. The final rolled Pb alloy plate shows a 10% or less decrease in withstand strength in both directions of 45 deg. and 90 deg. to the rolling direction. This means a 10% or less withstand-strength anisotropy within surface in the final rolled Pb alloy plate.

If this anode is applied to an electrolytic chrome plating bath or electrolytic chromic acid treating bath containing fluorides, then its current supply characteristic and corrosion resistance improves. Hence, the workability of the plating treatment, etc. is improved.
