    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluid injection device capable of stably injecting a fluid immediately after starting. SOLUTION: The fluid injection device 1 is provided with a pulsating flow generator 20 which changes the volume of a fluid chamber 80 by means of a piezoelectric element 30 and a diaphragm 40 to inject the fluid in pulses through a fluid injection opening 96, a pump 10 for supplying the fluid to the pulsating flow generator 20, a flexible tube 4 for communicating the pulsating flow generator 20 with the pump 10, a drive controller 15 for controlling the drives of the pulsating flow generator 20 and the pump 10, wherein the fluid is supplied from the pump 10 at an increased flow rate relative to a constant flow rate almost at the same time as the pulsating flow generator 20 is started within an increased flow rate designation time period, and the constant flow rate is restored after the increased flow rate designation time period has passed, whereby the reduction in the supplied amount of the fluid to the pulsating flow generator 20 can be inhibited to stably inject the fluid in pulses at a high speed immediately after the pulsating flow generator 20 has started, even if there is the expansion of the tube 4 caused by the increase in the flow path resistance in the pulsating flow generator 20.
