摘要： PURPOSE:To carry out repair and inspection of a gas tank with no use of an auxiliary tank, by providing an excess gas combusting means for combusting combustible gas by introducing the same from a gas inlet pipe. CONSTITUTION:A connecting pipe 33 is extended from an upper part of a water sealing tank 29 to a gas combustor 37 via a check valve 34, flame arrester 35 and valve 36. At the time of carrying out repair and inspection of a gas tank 7, a valve 17 is closed while a valve 26 is opened for introducing combustible gas produced in a digestion tank to an excess gas combusting means for combustion of the combustible gas and evacuation of the gas tank 7. Here, the combustible gas is introduced from a branch pipe 25 into the water sealing tank 29 and then carried via the connecting pipe 33 into combustor 37 for combustion therein.

摘要： PURPOSE:To readily measure the anionic polymer concenctration of a liquid being inspected, by passing it through a thin transparent tube filled with CaCO3 powder before passing a toluidine blue solution through the tube and measuring the length of the formed colored zone. CONSTITUTION:In the lower part of a thin trasparent tube 1 of glass or the like, a support material 6 having water permeability, such as glass wool, is provided, and thereon powdered calcium carbonate 2 of the order of 100-400 mesh is filled to a proper length. Then, at the bottom of the thin tube 1, an eluate reservoir 3 is provided and connected to a suction apparatus 4. Under suction, a liquid whose anionic polymer concentration is to be meausred is passed through the thin tube 1, and then a toluidine blue solution is passed therethrough. Thereby, a colored zone 5 having a length corresponding to the anionic polymer concentration of the liquid being inspected can be obtained. The length is measured and compared with the length in the case of using an anionic polymer solution of known concentration in order to measure the concentration.

摘要： PURPOSE:To largely increase the dehydrating efficiency of sludge by providing a high-pressure dehydrating portion using an auxiliary belt in the end portion of the joining-dehydration section of two sets of filter cloth belts circulating endlessly. CONSTITUTION:In the filtration of sludge by two sets of filtering cloth belts 1a and 1b circulating in endlessly, sludge is supplied onto the filtering cloth belt 1a at a sludge-supplying position 2 and dehydrated by gravity by means of the filtering cloth 1a in an area to reach a joining-starting point A, ane then the filtering clothes 1a and 1b are joined at the joining point A so as to put sludge between them and also to make it go in zig-zag between a large number of facial pressure-generating rollers 3, whereupon a shearing and compressive force is applied on the sludge for dehydration. At the end portion B of the joining-dehydrating section, high-pressure roller 4 and rollers 5 and 5' to hang the belt on the roller 4 on the form of OMEGA are provided and at the same time, the joined filtering cloth belts are pressed on the roller 4 by an auxiliary belt 6 to sufficiently dehydrate the sludge by strongly press the sludge in the joined belts. Thus, the dehydrating efficiency of sludge cake can be largely increased.
