    • PURPOSE: To reduce load to a driver applied when a water pan starts to be inclined by conducting water previously heated in a heat exchange part to an ice separating water passage defined in the back of a water pan upper surface plate. CONSTITUTION: When ice making is completed, a water supply solenoid valve 18 is opened whereby water in a heat exchanger container 22 raised in temperature with heat of a discharge pipe part 21 of a compressor 2 during ice making operation is flowed to an ice separation water passage 34, and is then sprayed and supplied to the surface of an upper surface plate 26 from a cleaning spray hole 25. Sensible heat of the previously heated water is transmitted to an ice side through the upper surface plate 26 to rapidly melt a lower surface of ice 43 frozen and fixed onto the surface of the upper surface plate 26 whereby adhesive force between the upper surface plate 26 and the ice 43 is weakened and further exfoliation effect between the upper surface plate 26 and the ice 43 is also anticipated owing to expansion of the upper surface plate 26 by temperature rise, so that a driver 11 is actuated on the basis of completion of the ice making, and hence when the upper surface plate 26 is exfoliated from the lower surface of the ice 43, load applied on the driver 11 is reduced.

A water discharge tray (8) to receive water from the ice- making unit is provided between the ice-making unit and the ice storage unit, and scoop holding parts (H1-H5) to hold scoops (S) for taking out ice pieces in the ice storage unit are provided on the left side of the ice storage unit of the heat insulating box below the water discharge tray.

      SOLUTION: The cell type ice making machine is provided with a cooler (3) equipped with an ice making chamber (1) whose one surface is opened, a plurality of ice making divisions (1b) formed in the ice making chamber, and water pans (7) equipped with a water injecting surface for injecting water into the ice making chamber while being reciprocated between a closed position whereat the water injection surface covers the opening surface of an ice making chamber, and an opened position whereat the water injection surface is separated from the opening surface of the ice making chamber.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of times which an evaporation pipe is heated by brazing by a method wherein the two ends of the evaporation pipe are closed and the vicinities of the two ends of the evaporation pipe are covered with a heat resisting material and after completion of dipping treatment, the evaporation pipe is cut at a part covered with the heat resisting material. SOLUTION: After crushed parts 1a are formed at the two end parts of an evaporation pipe 1, the two end parts are closed by a brazing material 2 and cuts 3 are formed on the outer peripheral surfaces of the vicinities of the two end parts of the evaporation pipe 1. The cuts 3 are covered by winding a heat resisting tape 4 around the vicinities of the two end parts of the evaporation pipe 1, and the evaporation pipe 1 is fixed in a serpentine state on the upper surface of an ice making chamber 6. Further, after an ice making chamber 6 on which the evaporation pipe 1 is fixed is immersed in a plating tank 8 to effect dipping treatment, the heat resisting tape 4 is peeled. After a pressuresensitive adhesive is removed by a solvent, the evaporation pipe 4s bent at a cut 2 part for cutting. Refrigerant pipings are fitted in the two end parts of the evaporation pipe 1 for connection and after brazing, rust prevention treatment is applied on a connection part.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an icemaker for preventing or suppressing adverse influence of liquid injection to an ice releasing step while smoothly cooling a compressor in an icemaking step by a liquid injection type. SOLUTION: The icemaker comprises a cooling unit R having a compressor 21, a condenser 22, an expansion valve 26 and a cooler 1. The icemaker conducts an icemaking step by condensing high temperature refrigerant discharged from the compressor 21 by the condenser 22, feeding it to the cooler 1 via the valve 26 and supplying water for icemaking to the cooler 1, and executes an ice releasing step by feeding high temperature refrigerant discharged from the compressor 21 to the cooler 1. The icemaker also comprises a liquid injection circuit 33 for feeding part of liquid refrigerant condensed by the condenser 22 into the compressor 21, and an injection valve 34 provided in the circuit 33 to pressure reduce the liquid refrigerant fed to the circuit 33 to be supplied to the compressor 21. The valve 34 regulates its valve opening based on a temperature detected by a temperature sensitive cylinder 42.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the quick drop of ice into an ice inlet port by a method wherein the ice gliding surface of a chute for ice, introducing ice, manufactured by an ice making device in an upper stage, into the ice inlet port of an ice storage chamber, is provided with linear protrusions. SOLUTION: An ice block 32, discharged out of an ice making device in an upper stage, is dropped onto a chute 33 for ice and is allowed to glide on the ice gliding surface 36b of the chute 33 for ice toward a dropping port 37. Then, the ice block 32, arriving at the dropping port 37, is dropped from the dropping port 37 into an ice inlet port and is received into an ice storage chamber. A plurality of linear protrusions 36c are formed on the ice gliding surface 36b in parallel substantially along the slanting direction of the gliding surface 36b. With the help of the protrusions 36c, the film of ice is seldom formed between the ice block and the ice gliding surface 36b and a contact area between the ice block and the ice gliding surface 36b is reduced whereby the ice block is dropped quickly.
