    • PURPOSE:To obtain a positive particle image on a dielectric by sticking light- transmissive insulating particles on the dielectric electrostatically, bringing the particle sticking surface on a photosensitive body which is charged electrostatically to the opposite polarity and performing image exposure, and separating the photosensitive body from the dielectric. CONSTITUTION:The image exposure 13 is performed while a voltage 12 is applied between the transparent electrode 7 of the dielectric 8 and the conductive base of the photosensitive body 11. Then, a negative charge is induced by a particle charge and an external voltage 12 on the photosensitive body 11 where the photosensitive body is exposed through the dielectric and particles. For the purpose, each charging voltage and the external applied voltage 12 are set properly, the photosensitive body 11 separates from the dielectric to stick particles at the light irradiated part on the photosensitive body, and the particles are removed from the dielectric to form a positive particle image on the dielectric. Large attracting force than that from the photosensitive body to the dielectric is allowed to operated on the light irradiated part to form the particle image on the dielectric, and each charging condition or applied voltage is adjusted to adjust each force relation.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain an image having excellent color purity by sticking electrostatically conductive and light transmittable particles on the surface of a photosensitive body contg. a photoconductive material and exposing an image thereto then making equal the potentials of the particles through which light is transmitted and the particles through which the light is not transmitted then developing the particles. CONSTITUTION:Conductive and light transmittable particles 1 (e.g.; glass beads which are colored in surface) are sprayed on an electrified photosensitive body 2 to stick the particles by electrostatic induction onto the body 2 into one layer. An image is then exposed to the particles 1 from above the same and thereafter the potentials of the particles 1b through which light is transmitted and the particles 1a through which the light is not transmitted are made equal by a method for rubbing the surface of the particles 1 after exposure by using a grounded conductive brush 3. The particles 2 are oscillated from the rear in succession thereto and only the particles 1b through which the light is transmitted are removed to form the particle image. Said image is transferred onto recording paper by which a positive color image is obtd.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a superior color image in only one step of exposure and development by using a mixture of particles transmitting each of red, green, and blue lights corresponding to each of color formers developing cyan, magenta, and yellow, and white light transmitting particles developing black. CONSTITUTION:Particles contg. a sublimable color former developing cyan and a red light transmitting dye, green light transmitting particles contg. a sublimable color former developing magenta, and blue light transmitting particles contg. a sublimable color former developing yellow, and a white light transmitting particles enabled to develop black by properly mixing said 3 color formers are mixed to form a color image forming particles. The specific resistivity of each light transmitting particles is controlled, preferably, to OMEGA.cm. A panchromatic photosensitive body is electrostatically charged in the dark, said mixed particles are scattered and an excess is shaken down, and said body is exposed to the color light image of an original. The particle attached face is directed downward, and the body is shaken to drop the particles weakened in electrostatic attraction, and the remaining particle image is electrostatically transferred to an image receptor contg. an activated clay, and heat fixed to obtain a sharp multicolor image.

    • PURPOSE: To enhance anti-rust, anti-corrosion and lubricating effects without losing characteristics inherent to a metal thin film, by a method wherein a specific rust inhibitor and a fluorine type surfactant are brought into contact treatment with the surface of the metal thin film which is, in turn, subjected to polishing treatment.
      CONSTITUTION: Contact treatment due to rust inhibitor and a fluorine type surfactant in a liquid phase or a gas phase is applied to the surface of a thin film with a thickness of several μm or less comprising a magnetic metal such as Co or a Ni-Co alloy in a thickness of several μm or less and the treated thin film is subjected to polishing treatment due to a polishing material. In this case, treatments due to the rust inhibitor and the surfactant are carried out simultaneously or separately or polishing and surfactant treatments are carried out after rust inhibitor treatment or corrosion inhibitor treatment, polishing treatment, surfactant treatment and polishing treatment are separately carried out. As the rust inhibitor, a treating agent containing a triazole type, an imidazole type and other compounds is used and, the fluorine type surfactant, an activator containing fluoroalkyl phosphoric ester and other compounds is used.

    • PURPOSE: To prevent a change in the quality of a thin filmlike metal due to rust, corrosion, etc. and to reduce the coefft. of kinematic friction of the metal, by sticking a surface treating agent made of an org. compound to the surface of the metal and by treating the surface with a nonpolar solvent.
      CONSTITUTION: An activator 4 made of an org. compound having lipophilic and hydrophilic groups is stuck to the surface of a thin filmlike metal 3 having a metallic layer 2 on its substrate 1. The surface of the metal 3 having the activator 4 is treated with a nonpolar solvent so that the activator 4 is stuck thinly and uniformly. Thus, the metal 3 can be prevented from rusting and corroding, and the coefft. of kinematic friction of the metal 3 can be reduced.
