摘要： PURPOSE:To evenly distribute plate-shape particles so as to improve the sharpness of a grinding wheel by rotating a mixture of binder resin and plate-shape alumina particles at high speed, and orienting the plate-shape alumina particles by means of centrifugal force, thus molding the grinding wheel. CONSTITUTION:Fine plate-shape alumina (alpha-Al2O3) particles are obtained through a hydrothermal treatment and are mixed with a binder resin (binding agent) and this mixture is heated to melt the binder resin and the molten mixture is fed from a feeding portion. While the mixture is being fed, a lower mold is rotated relative to a upper mold and a base body is disposed between the upper mold the lower mold. The molten mixture fed from the feeding portion of the die body held in place is fed into a gap formed between the base body and the upper mold and is forced to collide with each other by a centrifugal force caused by rotation of the lower mold and the alumina particles in the molten mixture are oriented in the vertical direction by this collision. Cooling water is fed into the cooling portion of the lower mold and the oriented alumina particles are sequentially hardened by the binder resin to form an alumina grinding wheel.

摘要： PURPOSE:To produce the subject mineral moldable without requiring addition of an organic additive by applying a hydrothermal treatment to a powdery two-component system mineral of silica-alumina in an acidic or neutral solution and forming a thin kaolinite film. CONSTITUTION:A powdery two-component system mineral of silica-alumina such as mullite and an acidic or neutral solution is tightly sealed in a pressure tank such as an autoclave. A hydrothermal reaction is carried out by heating to convert the surface of the powdery mineral into a clay-like material exhibiting plasticity. The particle size of the powdery mineral is not especially restricted and about 3 to 10mum is preferable. As the condition of the hydrothermal reaction, the reaction temperature is preferably 200 to 250 deg.C in the case of 7 day reaction period and the most favorable result can be obtained especially at about 230 deg.C. Further, an acidic solution is preferably used as the solution and a 0.1 N to 0.01 N hydrochloric acid solution is especially preferable. As the result of this hydrothermal treatment, a thin kaolinite film can be formed on the surface of a mineral such as mullite.

CONSTITUTION:An aqueous solution of sodium silicate is uniformly blended with an aqueous solution of aluminum sulfate while maintaining at pH 4-12 to give a mixed gel of silica and alumina. Then, the gel, for example, is dispersed into five times as much solution of ammonium nitrate as sodium and Na in the subjected to ion exchange for ammonium ion. Then the gel is burnt at 600 deg.C for 1 hour to remove ammonium subjected to ion exchange. This prepared raw material gel is fed to an autoclave so as to give 5wt.% slurry concentration, subjected to hydrothermal treatment at 220 deg.C for 3 days, cooled, washed with water, filtered and dried to give a kaolinite-like mineral, a reaction product.

摘要： PURPOSE:To increase reactive selectivity by permitting a catalyst carrier consisting of spinel crystal to carry transition metal selected from among Mo, Co, Ni and W as a catalytic activate component and thereby forming a catalyst for hydrogenation. CONSTITUTION:The carrier is made from an aq. nitrate solution 2 or 3 elements selected among Al, Mg, Co, Ni and Ga, mixed them stoichiometrically so as to form the spinel crystalline structure and spray thermal decomposed it. And catalytic active elements such as Mo, Ni, Co, W are carried on the carrier and they are strongly bonded with Al in the carriers. The preferable dose of carried transition metal is 0.01-80wt.%. The catalyst obtained provides uniform mutual action between the activated metal and the carrier, as the carrier has a stable constitution and subsequently forms a uniform active site on the surface easily.
