    • PURPOSE:To preclude risk of leaf springs of a terminal connecting device being set off even though each connector swings transversely and generate a sufficient contact pressure by overlapping two leaf springs one over the other, and furnishing a bend in engagement with the side face of the connector on a left side and a right side differing at their one-side ends. CONSTITUTION:A terminal connecting device 3 is composed of an upper and a lower connector 8, a support 6 holding the middle part between them, and a double structural leaf spring whose middle part is held by the support 6 alongside the outer side of the connectors 8 and which energizes them in the direction of holding. The leaf spring consists of a leaf spring member 9 and outer leaf spring member 11 to decrease the stresses, and these members are provided with bent parts 12, 13 at the left and right sides different from each other. Because the bent part 12, 13 sandwich the side faces of the connectors 8 from the sides, the leaf spring members 9, 11 comply with the connectors 8 and will not be set off even though the connectors 8 swing transversely when a large current passes.

    • PURPOSE:To provide possibility of using a material having good conductivity and processing easiness such as pure copper and permit both a receptacle (female) and tab (male) to be used for another purpose by furnishing both a male and a female contact with a contact part having detaining means substantially in the same form and with a connection part with a wire, etc. CONSTITUTION:An electric contact is fabricated from a relatively thick plate with good conductivity, for ex. pure Cu plate through punchoff and folding processes. The front end constitutes a contacting part 20 in the form of an approx. flat plate. To convert this electric contact into a female contact the contacting part 20 of the electric contact is enclosed and a resilient member 40 is formed. When this electric contact is intruded into the resilient member 40, a resilient tab 46 is fitted in an opening 22 in the contacting part 20 of the electric contact, and the electric contact and resilient member 40 are held stably. Thereby a male contact is provided while the electric contact is used as it is, and easy conversion can be made into a female contact by mounting the resilient member 40.

    • PURPOSE:To facilitate separation of connecting conductors from connectors and miniaturize the connectors by rotating an operating rod at 90 deg. to enlarge a space between connecting pieces, and moving a device on a drawn side to dispose the connecting conductors between the corresponding connecting pieces. CONSTITUTION:An operating rod 9 is inserted between the recesses 1b, 1b of connecting pieces 1a, 1a in respective phases from the outside of a drawer type equipment. When the rod 9 is rotated at 90 deg. to be vertically located in the major axis thereof, a space between the connecting pieces 1a, 1a can be enlarged. Accordingly, connecting conductors 11, 11, 11 can pass through the space between the connecting pieces 1a, 1a. A device 12 on a drawn side is moved in a direction indicated by an arrow A, and the connecting conductors in the respective phases are disposed between the connecting pieces 1a, 1a of corresponding connectors 1 in the phases. Next, the rod 9 is rotated at 90 deg. to be horizontally located in the major axis thereof. The connecting conductors 1 in the respective phases are held in contact by the connecting pieces 1a, 1a pressed by a presser in an opposite direction. Finally, the rod 9 is drawn out from the connecting pieces 1a, 1a in the respective phases to be electrically connected via the connectors to connecting conductors 7 corresponding the connecting conductors.
