摘要： PURPOSE: To effectively save the required cost without disturbing heat radiation via oil sumps by applying covers serving as a sound absorbing material to the outsides of the oil sumps and only to outer areas wherein the maximum amplitude of sound waves exists. CONSTITUTION: A sound absorbing material for sounds radiating from the oil sumps 1, 3 of an automobile and transmitted through air or structures uses a cover consisting of a layer 5 of viscoelastic material and a metallic cover layer 6, and the layer 5 of viscoelastic material is assembled between the oil sumps 1, 3 and the cover layer 6. The covers 5, 6 serving as the sound absorbing material are applied to the outsides of the oil sumps 1, 3 and only to outer areas 2 wherein the maximum amplitude of sound waves exists. This can be detected through the measurement of the sounds using a microphone or modular analysis because the number and dimension of the areas wherein the maximum amplitude of the sound waves exists are small. Thereby the space and amount of material required for attenuating the sounds are reduced and a sufficient space can be left behind for conventional heat radiation via the surfaces of the oil sumps 1, 3.

摘要： PURPOSE: To exhibit a soundproofing effect by forming a plastic layer and flexible layer which bend flexibly and is heavy and specifying the compsn. and characteristics of the flexible layer. CONSTITUTION: The outermost layer is formed out of a carpet material 1 and the heavy plastic layer 2 is arranged as a lump thereunder. The flexible layer 4 engages surely with a floor plate which radiates sounds and vibrates. The flexible layer 4 is used in combination of a polyurethane soft foam 3 in the lump and system so as to constitute a spring. The flexible 4 consists of 10 to 50wt.% org. polymer or silicon polymer and 50 to 90wt.% gel of a plasticizer compatible therewith. The flexible layer has elastic modules Pa, coefft. of internal loss >=0.5 at room temp. The flexible layer 4 is improved in dynamic flexibility as a result of the material characteristics and has the friction resistance for the use in a floor part and, therefore, the system helpful for soundproofing and more particularly soundproofing of vehicles is formed.

摘要： PURPOSE:To shorten the construction period by cutting the upper deck structure of a tanker by allowing to erect on the bilge beam of a tank as a table of a module. CONSTITUTION:The upper deck of the cargo oil tank 2 located at the center of a tanker is cut with the width smaller than the width of a center tank, allowing to lower them to the bottom of the hatch 7 as it is, and erecting them to make as the table 13 of a module 6. The hatch coaming 14 is constructed in close to a hatch opening 10 and make newly the hatch cover 15 where the table 18 is provided. The module stowage table 9 comprising a longitudinal beam 19 and a crosswise beam 20 is provided by combining to prevent from the lack of strength due to installing the hatch. This enables the hull and the tank of a tanker to utilize effectively as a hull of a module carrying vessel and a hatch as well, allowing to save the construction period and cost, and to average out the stowage due to loading the module on the upper deck.
