    • PURPOSE: To exactly maintain flow by letting a stem have a taper forming a diameter to be reduced so as to be passed through an orifice, and fixing a motor device to a valve system in order to linearly move the valve stem. CONSTITUTION: A valve main body 40 is provided with an orifice plate 43 having the flow orifice of cylindrical diameter, a bent valve stem 52 is tapered so as to be operated at the flow rate set and regulated concerning the axial position of an orifice 47, especially, the stem 52 in a flow edge. The tapered valve member is formed practically longer than the length of the orifice. The stem main body member can be slid inside a bar having a circulating friction seal, preferably, a U-shaped cut seal so that leak can be maintained by the fixed friction force of the seal. A stepper motor 26 is fitted to a base plate and exactly matched with a valve main body 40 and the valve stem 52 while fixing the valve main body 40. Thus, the valve system can be provided for exactly deciding the control of gas flow and flow with comparatively sever pressure and flow range.

Thus, the non-linear relation ship between the percolation amount and movement distance of a piston 6 is compensated by the non-linear relationship between the measurement signal 18 and the output signal 20.

CONSTITUTION:When a flow rate drops to under the lower limit value, since a movable part 4 descends to the lower limit position, a magnetic member 10 of a fixed part 3 also descends to the lower limit position together with a magnetic member 11 of the movable part 4. Therefore, since the magnetic member 10 is separated enough from a light emitting element 6 and a light receiving element 7, as for a reflected light by the magnetic member 10, its reflecting direction is displaced, and also, it is scattered. Therefore, the light quantity which is made incident on the light receiving element 7 becomes very small, a signal corresponding thereto is inputted to a control part 9, and also, for instance, such a control as a pump is stopped is executed. In such a way, since the light quantity which is made incident on the light receiving element 8 in relation to the flow rate increases and decreases, a mechanical opening/ closing element such as a reed switch, etc., is unnecessary.

    • PURPOSE:To enable sure detection of the flow and clogged state of fertilizer by placing a vertically movable float in a vertical detection channel formed in a fluid flow channel. CONSTITUTION:Fertilizer is pressed into an upper-side flow channel 21 by operating a fertilizer pump, transferred to a detection channel 23, turns in vertical direction and presses a float from upward. The displacement of the float 24 is proportional to the flow rate. When the float 24 is pressed down by a prescribed distance, a reed switch 34 is turned OFF by a magnet 35 to detect the flow of fertilizer and the float is brought into contact with a lower limit stopper 26. The fertilizer is flowed to the downstream channel after pressing down the float 24. The float 24 is constantly subjected to the flow pressure to enable the sure detection of the presence of flow. When the fertilizer is clogged at the downstream-side of the flow channel, the flow of the fertilizer in the detection channel 23 is stopped, the float is raised by the buoyancy, the reed switch 34 is turned ON to alarm the detection of clogging and the float is brought into contact with an upper limit stopper 25.

    • PURPOSE: To control a flow precisely and accurately without necessitating a flowmeter by adjusting a metering valve during a time interval so that fluid follows a flow control accurately under normal pressure and temperature conditions. CONSTITUTION: A metering valve 16 is opened from an initially closed position to a selective position where a pressure drop across a fixed orifice 38 is achieved, the pressure drop is detected by a sensor 39, and a signal occurred on a lead wire 40 is applied to a controller 60. At the same time, the position of the valve 16 is recorded by a signal on a lead wire 56 from a resolver 54, and one set point is provided to it. Next a valve 34 is closed, a valve 36 is opened, and the valve 16 is kept open until it is indicated on a sensor 42 that a flow passing the other fixed orifice is equal to that obtained when an orifice 41 is adjusted. A reading on a line 56 indicating the position of the valve 16 provides a second set point. Then the reading is continued on a plurality of fixed orifices until a relation between an actual flow rate and a resolver reading can be obtained so as to provide information corresponding to one adjustment curve.
