    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take in and out washing easily and incorporate electric parts easily. SOLUTION: In this washing machine 1, front upper ends of a right face plate 2c and a left face plate 2b of an outer frame 21 of a housing are mutually connected by a connection member 25. A central part 25a of the connection member 25 overhangs forward and is lower than an upper end 21c of the outer frame 21. A front part 23b of an upper face plate 23 is arranged in the front of an upper part of the central part 25a of the connection member 25, and an operation panel 7 is arranged therein. Since the operation panel 7 can be arranged at a low position by protruding forward, a charging port 23a can be enlarged and arranged close to the front so that washing can be put into the washing machine 1 easily. A cover 84 covering a lead wire provided on a rear surface side of the upper face plate 23 is attached to the upper end 21c of the outer frame 21. Electric parts such as a water level sensor 81, an air pump 82 are attached to the cover 84 to form a unit by them. Consequently, it is possible to prevent increase of a size of outer shape of the washing machine and reduction of capacity of a washing tank.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make efficiently dischargeable dehydrated water by making the dehydrat ed water rise along grooves when a dehydration is performed by rotating an internal tub at a high speed, improve the dehydration performance, and at the same time, reduce the vibration by forming the peripheral wall of the internal tub and the groove into a tapered shape which becomes wider toward the upper end, and making the tapering of the groove larger than the tapering of the peripheral wall. SOLUTION: An external tub 21 is hung from a box body 1 by a plurality of vibration isolation mechanisms comprising a supporting rod 2A and a spring 2B, and in the external tub 21, an internal tub (washing-dehydrating tub) 3 is rotatably housed. For the internal tub 3, a plurality of grooves 3C are formed in the vertical direction on the peripheral wall 3D on the internal surface side. In this case, the peripheral wall 3D and the groove 3C are formed into a tapered shape which becomes wider toward the upper end, and at this time, the peripheral wall 3D is formed into a tapered shape of 1/60-1/40, and in the meantime, the groove 3C is formed into a tapered shape of 1/60-1/40, and the tapering of the groove 3C is made larger than that of the peripheral wall 3D, and a dehydrating hole 3A for dehydration is provided on the upper end section of the internal tub 3 at a plurality of locations.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce noise by providing a box-shaped resonance container with only one open surface facing a passage of sound waves in a gap to be a passage of sound waves from a sound source, which occurs between the mounting surface of an apparatus and the lower end of a cabinet, in the apparatus which comprises a source of drive sound such as a motor inside the cabinet. SOLUTION: In a hydroextracting-cum-washing machine, an outer tub 23 and a washing tub-cum-hydroextracting tub inner tub are elastically supporting inside a cabinet 22. A motor 26 via a motor base 26a and a driving mechanism part such as a decelerating mechanism, etc., are arranged on the outer bottom part of the outer tub 23, and vibration isolating legs 32 made of rubber are each provided at the four corner parts of the lower end surface of the cabinet 22. In this case, a long hollow box-shaped resonance container 36 of U-shaped cross section with only an open lower- surface side facing the mounting surface of a washing machine 21 is protruded downward from a front supporting plate 33 located in the front of the washing machine 21 among supporting plates provided at the bottom part of the cabinet 22. By this constitution, a path forward in the gap between the lower surface of the outer box 30 of the cabinet 22 and the mounting surface is cut off, and it is possible to obtain superior effects in reducing noise leaking to the front of the apparatus.
