摘要： PURPOSE:To alleviate a skew by a method wherein a stress absorbing roll unit having an inclination changed according to the stress generated at both ends of an ink doner film is provided between a back-up roll pressing against a thermal head and a feed roll. CONSTITUTION:In a heat transfer recorder wherein the ink doner film 1 being let out from the feed roll 2 is introduced between the thermal head 3 and the back-up roll 5 pressing against the head 3 and recording is conducted by introducing a recording paper 4 between the film 1 and the back-up roll 5, the stress- absorbing roll unit 6 having an inclination to be changed according to the stress generated at both ends of the film 1 is provided between the feed roll 2 and the back-up roll 5. For example, the unit 6 may preferably be such that a rotary shaft 6B for a roll 6A is supported by a holder 6C and a bottom part 11 of the holder 6C is rotatably fitted to a projecting part 12 of a frame so as to keep the longitudinal balance of the roll 6A.

摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a heat transfer recorder by a method wherein a roll of ink donor film and a roll of recording paper, each of which is fed from a different source of supply, are caused to overlap each other in the vicinity of a recording unit to prevent the roll of ink donor film from creating wrinkles.
CONSTITUTION: A roll of ink donor film 5 rewound from a roll 8 is caused to change its direction of progression in the direction of an arrow A by a guide roll 9 and then caused to contact with a roll of recording paper 4 drawn out from feed rolls 15, 16, and the overlapped rolls are caused to enter a recording unit having a back roll 10 and a thermal head 11. Since the roll of ink donor film is caused to constantly change its direction of progression in the direction of the arrow A by the operation of the guide roll 9 even if the diameter of the roll 8 decreases and then it is caused to enter the recording unit, the recording paper and the ink donor film are constantly overlapped each other without undue force being applied.
