摘要： PURPOSE: To surely displace only an inner side piston of small diameter, even when external diametric dimension of an actuator is decreased in order to attain forming into small size, lightening weight and improving an operating speed. CONSTITUTION: In case of displacing an inner side piston 37a of small diameter having a small pressure receiving area relating to an outer side piston 31a, compressed air is supplied only in a short time not only to the second port 40a but also to the first port 35a. As a result, a rod 10 is pressed up with sufficiently large force by the outer side piston 31a having a large pressure receiving area, to separate a valve body 9 from an opening peripheral edge of a circulating hole 8. After the valve body 9 is separated from the opening peripheral edge, supplying compressed air to the first port 35a is stopped, to continue only supplying compressed air to the second port 40a.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provided the double acting type two step opening and closing actuator which can surely open and close a valve at the three positions of a fully closed, an intermediate and a fully opened position, is in a balanced shape, and is less in the amount of pressure fluid consumption. CONSTITUTION:A cylinder means 5 allowing a piston rod 2 to be reciprocated by a small diameter piston 6, is connected to one side of a motion converting mechanism 4, and a cylinder mechanism 7 the inner cross sectional area of which is roughly five times as large as that of the cylinder means, is connected to the other side of the mechanism, the piston rod 2 is penetrated through the center hole 8a of the aforesaid large diameter piston 8, and a locking section 9 is provided at the head of the rod. The movement of the large diameter piston 8 until it is brought into contact with a stopper means 19 permits a valve to be opened up to an intermediate position, under which condition, the valve is opened up to a fully opened position, and is also closed to the intermediate position while a small diameter piston 6 is being reciprocated over a remaining stroke, and after that, the valve is fully closed only with the small diameter piston 6 operated.
