    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rock bit apparatus with a striking mechanism, which has a compressed air feeding line and a second fluid pressure feeding line. SOLUTION: The rock bit apparatus with the striking mechanism has arranged therein the compressed air feeding line and the second fluid pressure feeding line for driving a down-the-hole drill body, independently from each other. The down-the-hole drill main body has a check valve arranged across an exhaust passage thereof. When the bit is advanced by the down-the-hole body, the compressed air is fed from the compressed air feeding line, and at the same time the second fluid pressure is auxiliarily fed from the second fluid pressure feeding line, followed by converging both the pressures at lower ends thereof to discharge slime. When the bit is advanced by rotating a casing without driving the down-the-hole drill body, the second fluid pressure is ejected from the second fluid pressure feeding line to discharge slime.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary percussion drill which is good in hammering efficiency, and includes a drill head device and component parts thereof which are hardly broken. SOLUTION: There is provided a rotary percussion drill which is constructed by slidably arranging a slide table on a leader erected from a base machine, providing an advance feeding device on the slide table to be frontward and rearward moved, fixing a penetrated type drill head to the slide table, and disposing a chuck mechanism 7, a motor 8, and a hammering device 15 on the drill head, whereby a drill rod gripped by the chuck mechanism is rotated, advanced, and driven. In the thus constructed rotary percussion drill, the chuck mechanism has a chuck piece arranged on a spindle 9 which is connected to the motor via a gearing mechanism for rotation, and the chuck piece grips the periphery of the drill rod 1. The hammering device is disposed such that a hollow piston 11 of a hollow percussion cylinder 10 hammers the chuck piece gripping the drill rod along the internal peripheral surface of the spindle, in an axial direction.
