摘要： PURPOSE:To mass-produce only fine powder of very fine grading suitable for recycling by effectively pulverizing FRP waste. CONSTITUTION:In the early stage of a vertical mill 1, FRP waste 10 is crushed to FRP chips 13 of such proper size that they are caught by a pulverizing roller 4 of the vertical mill 1. The FRP chips 13 together with powder generated this time are fed into the vertical mill 1 to pulverize it. That the FRP waste 10 is crushed to the fine FRP chips 13 in the early stage of the vertical mill 1 and that the FRP chips 13 together with the powder 23 generated this time are fed into the vertical mill 1 permit the restraint of slippage of the FRP chips 13, causing the FRP chips 13 to be easily caught between a pulverizing table 3 and the pulverizing roller 4. And pulverized layer is easily formed between the pulverizing table 3 and the pulverizing roller 4, allowing the FRP chips 13 to be properly pulverized.

Purging air 5 is fed from a nozzle 6 while rotating the pulverizer 1, and the pulverized sample 3 is discharged from an exhaust port 7. A particle size after the sample is pulverized is set to a pass amount 20-80% of 200#. Thus, coal particle size after pulverizing is close to actual pulverizer to obtain friability satisfactorily coincident with actual operation data of the pulverizer. A method for testing coal friability in which more accurate friability can be evaluated is obtained.

Further a grinding device for grinding coal supplied from the coal feeding pipe is provided with a detector (thermocouple 5) for detecting the tube wall temperature of the coal feeding pipe and an arithmetic unit 10 which compares a tube wall temperature detection signal 20 outputted from the detector with a tube wall temperature setting signal 21. The rate of water injection supplied through the water injecting holes is increased and decreased on the basis of the comparison result of the tube wall temperature detection signal and the tube wall temperature setting signal.
