摘要： PURPOSE:To promote durability of a card-shaped key and to make it possible to provide a lock in correspondence with designs of a bag, etc., by inserting the card-shaped key in one direction only to lock and unlock therewith. CONSTITUTION:A locking means 15 constituted of a directly locking and unlocking latch 20 and a stopper 24 is provided. After that, the stopper 24 has an operation block as driving source shifting in locking and unlocking directions to provide an operation means 16. Then, the operation block is connected to the stopper 24 with a wire 32, and the operation block is placed in an insertion direction of a card-shaped key 30 so that it is capable of moving. At that time, the stopper 24 is rotated, and the stopper 24 is so formed that the front end thereof is inserted in the lower part of the front head section 19 of both lock levers. Subsequently, the card-shaped key 30 is inserted toward the step face of the operation block, and the operation block is lowered to rotate the stopper 24. Accordingly, the operation is reversed by a direction energizing the stopper 24, that is, the card-shaped key 30 is inserted to push the operation block against it, and locking and unlocking is made.

As the head portion 19 is inserted into the casing 14, it moves the latch plate 13 upward, an engaging portion 13b is engaged with the cut-out groove of the head portion 19 and, by rotating the knob 21, regular locking is performed. Then, by rotating the knob 21 based on a password number, the cut-out portion 21 of the driving body 22 is conformed with the cutout portion 33 of the rotary plate and the member 15 is pulled off of the body 11 to remove engagement.

In addition, the number setting table 50 is pressed to move the key wheel 42 for releasing the engagement with the dial wheel 43 so that new number setting becomes possible.
