    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion detecting imaging apparatus, wherein a motion is monitored over a wide region even with a simple configuration and the detection probability is not made low even for an object with a fast motion. SOLUTION: The motion detecting imaging apparatus includes a solid-state imaging device 2, a lens optical system 3 for collecting light from an object region and allowing the solid-state imaging device 2 to image the object, the lens optical system 3 includes an optical lens array 14 including lenses 12a of a central array for collecting the light from a front direction of the object region and lenses 12b, 12c of right and left arrays for collecting light from right and left directions of the object region, and 45° rectangular prisms for guiding the light from the right and left directions of the object region to the lenses 12b, 12c, and the motion detecting imaging apparatus includes a timing generator 7 for allowing the lens optical system 3 to image individual monocular images formed by each optical lens 12 with a time difference in each row direction, and a microprocessor 11 for reproducing the three individual monocular images in each row direction into a wide angle image and detecting a motion of the object on the basis of a difference between the wide angle images, and a plurality of the wide angle images are reproduced by one shutter operation and the motion is detected.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which suppresses the frequency of the charge shift clock of an HCCD low, and performs photographing with good image quality over the whole area of a screen.
      SOLUTION: An output signal from a left channel comprising a pixel region 11a, a horizontal OB portion 15a, an oblique shift region 12a, and an HCCD 13a, and an output signal from a right channel comprising a pixel region 11b, a horizontal OB portion 15b, an oblique shift region 12b, and an HCCD 13b, are supplied to a comparison adjustment portion. To the signals of both channels, vertical reference signals by the function of a vertical charge injection portion 17 are added, and the comparison adjustment portion adjusts the level of the output signal of each channel, so that the levels of the vertical reference signals of both channels become the same. Consequently, variations of charge shift efficiencies of regions near the boundaries of both channel portions, the oblique shift regions 12a and 12b, etc., can be excellently corrected.
