    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrophotographic photoreceptor, in which a charge transporting layer with high uniformity is formed by reducing a use amount of an organic solvent used for a coating liquid for the charge transporting layer as well as by increasing stability of the coating liquid after stored in a long time in a method for forming a charge transporting layer.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an electrophotographic photoreceptor comprises the steps of: preparing a solution including a charge transporting substance and at least one compound selected from the group consisting of a fluorine atom-containing polyacrylate, fluorine atom-containing polymethacrylate, polycarbonate having a siloxane bond, polyester having a siloxane bond, polystyrene having a siloxane bond, silicone oil, polyolefin, fatty acid, fatty acid amide and fatty acid ester; preparing an emulsion by using the solution and water; forming a coating film of the emulsion on a support; and heating the coating film to form a charge transporting layer.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor which achieves real long-life and stable image quality, having excellent mechanical durability, electrical characteristics, environmental stability, and stability against gas at the same time; an image formation method; an image formation device; and a process cartridge.SOLUTION: An electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a conductive support and at least a photosensitive layer on the conductive support. The electrophotographic photoreceptor includes an outermost surface layer including an inorganic filler, an acid dispersant, and a three-dimensional crosslinked polymer. The three-dimensional crosslinked polymer is formed by a polymerization through a reaction that a compound having three or more [(tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yl)oxy]methyl groups on an aromatic ring of a charge transfer compound leaves a portion of the [(tetrahydro-2H-pyran-2-yl)oxy]methyl groups off with an acid catalyst.
