SOLUTION: This method for producing the high concentration nanosize organic pigment fine particles is characterized by dissolving the organic pigment in an organic solvent preferably containing 1-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone in an amount of at least ≥50 vol. % and then injecting the obtained pigment solution under a stirring condition into a solvent which is compatible with the above-described solvent but has poor compatibility with the pigment. The pigment is preferably a quinacridone pigment, a phthalocyanine pigment or the like. The production can be performed in the atmospheric pressure to semicritical or supercritical state.
