    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load control mechanism of a self-running working machine which performs work through an internal combustion engine and runs through an electric motor in which good finish of work can be sustained through simple control by controlling the running speed automatically such that a proper work load is operated from the operating conditions of an internal combustion engine, and the burden on the worker can be lessened.
      SOLUTION: The load control mechanism of a self-running working machine comprises a means for operating a maximum work output Qf from a set designated number of revolution Nf of engine, a means for operating an actual work load Qr from the set designated number of revolution Nf of engine and an actual number of revolution Nr of engine, a means for operating a limit speed Vc from the maximum work output Qf and the actual work load Qr, and a running control means performing drive control of an electric motor by setting the limit speed Vc to a running speed V when the actual number of revolution Nr of engine drops below the designated number of revolution Nf.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power unit supporting assembly changeably supporting the power units so as to correspond to different cutting conditions.
      SOLUTION: The sulky mower comprises a frame supporting an operator and a cutting unit connected with the frame and rotatably having at least one blade. The changeable power unit supporting assembly supports one of an engine or a battery unit connected to a generator. One of the changeable power unit supporting assemblies is removably connected with the frame. A first electric motor supplies power to rotate the blade and a second electric motor supplies power to drive the mower. Output voltage generated by one of the generator or the battery unit applies voltage to the first and second electric motors.
