    • PURPOSE:To make die set exchanging possible without hindering press work by providing die set containing parts revolvably and directably and rotatably in a constant direction on the front and rear faces on one side of a press body and disposing a simulator on the die set adjusting side. CONSTITUTION:When the malfunction of the old die set D1 fixed on the bolster of a press body 1 is detected, die set containing boxes 12, 12 one of which is placed with an adjusted die set D2 the other is empty are turned manually to the forcing and removing face positions of the body 1. The set D2 is ejected onto the body 1 and the set D1 is projected onto the empty box 12, after which the boxes 12, 12 are again turned and reset to the die set adjust positions. Here, the set D1 is transferred from one box 12 to a simulator 26. In this case a pair of the front and rear boxes 12, 12 and the simulator 26 align longitudinally in one row on the lateral outer side of the body 1. Since the front face opening parts of the boxes 12 direct to the simulator side, the die sets can be moved only by the operation of the cylinders 13.

    • PURPOSE:To permit positioning with high accuracy by permitting the outer peripheral pin of an attachment to be closely inserted into the concave of a groove or the outside hole of a work and bringing the attachment into three- point contact with the work. CONSTITUTION:The projection piece 19b positioned on the rectilinear plane of an attachment 19 is inserted into the oil groove 13c which is positioned on a fixed straight line on a work 13 and brought into contact with the outer peripheral groove 13d, and also a square outer peripheral pin 19c is brought into contact with the outer peripheral groove 13d positioned on the same straight line. Therefore, the work 13 turns integrally in the same direction by inductive turning of the attachment 19, and turning of the attachment 19 stops with a centering adapter 8 at the time when a rack 11 shifts to the utmost, so also the work 13 stops together with the attachment 19, and positioning of the work 13 is completed.

    • PURPOSE:To simultaneously press the packed powders in two directions from above as well as bottom and to improve the dimensional accuracy of a product with uniform quality, by relatively decreasing the down stroke of outer mold as compared with the down stroke of upper punch in the process of pressing operation. CONSTITUTION:After a predetermined quantity of powder P is charged into the mold hole of an outer mold 7, an upper ram 4 is moved downward and an upper punch 1 is inserted into the mold hole of the outer mold 7 so as to start compressing operation. Then, if the upper punch 1 is further moved downward, both pushing down bars 5, 5 is allowed to contact with heads of each end of rocking levers 9, 9 and push them down and press down a die plate 6 cooperatively via both receiving dies 10, 10 so that the relative positions between outer mold 7 and fixed lower punch 8 can be correctly set and then, the final compressing operation is conducted with the aid of upper punch 1. Thus, the powders are pressed simultaneously in two directions from upper as well as lower positions and the molded product with high dimensional accuracy and uniform quality can be manufactured without any fear that powders might be vertically reciprocated while compressing.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an exchanger with which the work to attach and detach tool sets for exchange to and from a powder molding press body is easily and accurately carried out and which allows the prepn. of these tool sets for exchange as many as possible and does not require the attachment and detachment of a hydraulic piping. SOLUTION: The exchanger for exchanging and using the tool set attachably and detachably mounted at the central part of the powder molding press body by adequately selecting tool set from the plural previously prepd. tool sets is provided with a turning stage 3 freely turnable on the extension line of the approximately central part C1 of the press body 2 as a turning center C2 in the form that the outer peripheral side comes into proximity with the press body 2 behind the press body 2. The plural tool sets 7 which are made horizontally movable back and forth in a radial direction by a rectilinear moving mechanism 32 are respectively placed on the prescribed positions on the outer peripheral side on this rotary stage 3 and the rotary stage 3 is turned by rotational driving and positioning means. The rotary stage is stopped where the positions for placement of the respective tool sets 7 turn to the exchange position where the turning center C, and the approximately central part C1 of the press body are linked.
