    • PURPOSE:To increase the capacity of an underground depository unit without the need to alter the distance between struts to support floor boards by a method in which plural struts are erectly provided on supports provided on the floor of the underground depository unit and projected upwards from the unit to support the floor board and sleepers. CONSTITUTION:A depository unit 1 is set on a foundation B formed under the ground, pasts 5 are erectly set on post fixers 14, and soil is packed into the surrounding space of the unit 1. Struts 9 are erectly set on footings 90, and sleepers 8 are laid on the upper ends of the struts 9 and the posts 5. Floor joists 7 are placed on the sleepers 8 and floor boards 6 are placed on the floor joists 7. The entrance 60 of the floor boards 6 is positioned above the opening 10 of the unit 1, and the opening 10 and the entrance 60 are led through connectors 2 and port frames 3. A fall preventive net (n) is laid on the port frame 3, and a cover 4 is fitted above the net (n).

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the treatment efficiency of sewage in an anaerobic filter bed tank, to save the capacity of the anaerobic filter bed tank and to simplify the structure of the anaerobic filter bed tank. SOLUTION: In the anaerobic filter bed tank 1 with cord-like filter media 13 arranged therein, at least partition walls 4 and 6 to partition the interior of the tank to a sewage inflow side chamber 7 and a sewage outflow side chamber 9 are provided and a plurality of straightening apertures 10 are formed at the partition walls 4 and 6. While the sewage flowing into the anaerobic filter bed tank 1 is straightened by the straightening apertures 10 of the partition walls 4 and 6, the sewage is caused to flow horizontally in the anaerobic filter bed tank 1 from the sewage inflow side chamber 7 toward the sewage outflow side chamber 9 and is brought into contact with the cord-like filter media 13 disposed in the anaerobic filter bed tank to be subjected to biological decomposition by anaerobic bacteria. The cord-like filter media 13 can be vertically arrayed in the anaerobic filter bed tank 1 down to its base surface from a sewage surface, so that the cord-like filter media 13 have high efficiency of contact with floating substances and settled sludge, efficiently perform the biological decomposition and reduce the amount of deposition of the floating substances and the settled sludge. • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorber having water absorbability and elasticity by using a vegetable chip comminuted dry matter, to provide various type mat, sheet or bed sheet having water absorbability and elasticity or bed sheet for a person or an animal and a packaging material having water absorbability and elasticity and a humidity control action, and to further provide a flower pot or a nursery bed having water holding action and a humidity control action. SOLUTION: The absorber comprises a front surface side absorbable paper layer for forming a front surface; a back surface side absorbable paper layer for forming a rear surface; and a water absorbable material layer which contains the vegetable chip comminuted dry matter, vegetable chip comminuted dry matter and water absorbable resin or vegetable chip comminuted dry matter, waster blended material, and water absorbable resin between the front surface side and the rear surface side paper layers. The absorber is obtained by compression molding them. When a plastic waste material is used as the waste blending material, a heat of combustion after use is relatively high, and can be incinerated without damaging a combustion furnace.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a granular excreta treating material for an animal having good absorbency of the urine and water holding properties, changeable the excreta into a massive state, having excellent sanitary properties, and capable of incinerating and effectively utilizing the waste. SOLUTION: This granular excreta treating material for the animal is characterized in that an organic waste and >=0.1 wt.% of a dried and solidified material of a coffee extracted liquid are contained and formed into a granular state. Furthermore, the method for producing the granular excreta treating material for the animal is characterized by pulverizing the organic waste, forming the pulverized material thereof into a granular state in the presence of a concentrate of the coffee extracted liquid and then drying the formed material. The emission of a malodor from combustible wastes such as edge dust, extraction residues of roasted coffee beans, tea grounds and wood flour of a white-cedar leaf which are conventionally rejected in large amounts and causing problems about the treatment can be suppressed and the combustible wastes can be utilized as the granular excreta treating material for the animal having water holding functions. Since the whole is composed of a combustible material, the disposal is readily carried out.
