摘要： PURPOSE:To three-dimensionally show a variable color function to improve the display effect by setting the thickness of an electrolyte layer to 2-10mm and changing a second electrochromic color developing layer in accordance with the change of color of a first electrochromic color developing layer. CONSTITUTION:Transparent conductive films 2 and 21 are formed on inside surfaces facing each other of a pair of glass substrates 1 and 11 and first and second electrochromic color developing layers 3 and 31 are formed on these transparent conductive films facing each other and an electrolyte layer 4 having 2-10mm thickness is provided between them. Power is supplied to the electrolyte layer 4 and electrochromic layers 3 and 31 are allowed to face each other to develop, discolor or extinguish color. For example, the second color developing layer 31 is transparent or has light red when the first color developing layer 3 has red and the second color developing layer 31 has deep blue when the first color developing layer 3 is transparent or has blue. Consequently, three-dimensional variable color display with blue in the rear and red in the front is possible.

摘要： PURPOSE:To increase the capacity and output density per area of a battery by renewing an electrolytic polymerization solution every 1.5-2 hours when a positive electrode made of conductive polymer thin film is formed on the surface of a current collector by electrolytic polymerization. CONSTITUTION:For example, a current collector 16 made of sheet-shaped carbon fibers and aluminium plates 12, 14 covered with separators made of filter paper 20a, 20b respectively are immersed in an electrolytic polymerization solution 18, then electrolysis is conducted to form a positive electrode on the surface of the current collector. The electrolytic polymerization solution is prepared by dissolving 0.5 mol/l pyrrole and 1.0 mol/l lithium fluoroborate in acetonitrile and electrolysis is conducted at a current of 7-10 mA/cm . By renewing the electrolytic polymerization solution every 1.5-2 hours, increase in voltage between both electrodes is prevented and deposition of impurities on the electrode is also retarded. By using this positive electrode, the output density and capacity of a battery is increased.

摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the sealing performance of terminal portions by laminating the thin plate of a light metal as an outer layer and resin as an inner layer to form a battery jar and putting epoxy resin at the terminal portions of a positive electrode and a negative electrode to seal them by deposition. CONSTITUTION:A laminated battery jar 10 constituted of a light metal outer layer (aluminum sheet) 12 and a resin inner layer (polyethylene sheet) 14 is formed. Epoxy resin 36, 38 is put at the terminal portions 32, 34a, 34b of a positive electrode 18 and negative electrodes 22a, 22b to seal them by deposition. Thereby, the adhesion between the terminal portions 32, 34a, 34b and epoxy resin 36, 38 is extremely high, and moisture and oxygen are blocked by welded portions and hardly infiltrate into the battery jar 10. Accordingly the sealing performance of the terminal portions can be improved.

摘要： PURPOSE:To make it possible to form a thick high polymer membrane of an even membrane thickness, by ultrasonic-washing a collector to which a high polymer membrane is separated by the electrolytic polymerization, and repolymerizing it. CONSTITUTION:In an electrolytic polymerization jar 10 storing an electrolyte 12 containing a high polymer material which is made by dissolving an electrolyte in an organic solvent, at least a collector 14 and at least a conductor 16 are soaked, and a current is applied between the both members to polymerizing- deposit a high polymer material on the collector 14, so as to form a plastic electrode which consists of a high polymer material. After carrying out the electrolytic polymerization in a specific time, and separating the high polymer material on the surface of the collector 14, an ultrasonic wave is radiated thereover in the condition of soaking the collector 14 in the washing solution, and the removal process is repeated to remove the high polymer material of a poor adhesion. As a result, on the collector after the washing, an even high polymer membrane as a whole and with a sufficient adhesion is formed thick over the surface.

In addition, the density of the electrolyte is limited within the range of 0.5-l.5 mol/l, thus relatively stable conductivity can be obtained.

Electricity is passed across the current collector and the conductor, and a polymer is deposited on the current collector by electrical polymerization to form a plastic electrode comprising the polymer. The current collector 14 is immersed in a cleaning solution, and ultrasonic waves are irradated to remove polymer having weak bonding force. By ultrasonic cleaning, the thin polymer film having high bonding force is formed, and a battery having large capacity per volume can be obtained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To increase battery performance by using an organic electrolyte secondary battery at 30 deg.C or higher, comprising a positive electrode of a conductive polymer and organic electrolyte obtained by dissolving an electrolyte in organic solvent. CONSTITUTION:An organic electrolyte secondary battery 4 is fabricated with a cathode 1 comprising polypyrrole, an anode 2 comprising lithium, and an electrolyte 3 comprising 0.5M-LiBF4/propylene carbonate. The charge-discharge efficiency of the secondary battery is increased with the temperature rise, and sharply increased at 40 deg.C or higher. Therefore, the secondary battery is used in an atmosphere kept at 30 deg.C or higher. As a result, the conductivity of organic solvent is increased compared with that at room temperature, the conductivity of the electrode comprising the conductive polymer is improved, and the internal resistance of the battery is decreased. Therefore, the battery performance is increased compared with use of at room temperature.
