    • PURPOSE:To contrive to improve the raising speed of a vehicle by a method wherein a check valve, which cuts off the air flow from an air chamber to an accumulator but allows to flow the air flow from the accumulator to the air chamber, is provided in an air passage connecting the air chamber of a suspension system and the accumulator. CONSTITUTION:Detection signals of height detectors 101 and 102 are inputted to a one chip microcomputer MPU and, after being processed, inputted to a control driving system 200. When a compressor 203 is driven under the condition that a solenoid valve SOL2 and the check valve SOL-CE are open, the accumulator 330 is filled. On the other hand, when the compressor 203 is driven under the condition that both the solenoid valves SOL1 and SOL2 are open, air is supplied to the suspension system 400 and when the condition that the air pressure in the accumulator 330 is high is moreover added to the condition just mentioned above, air is supplied from both the accumulator 330 and the air compressor 203 to the suspension system 400, resulting in performing high speed car body raising. When the air pressure in the accumulator 330 lowers, the check valve SOL-CE cuts off the connection between the accumulator 330 and the solenoid valve SOL2, resulting in eliminating the lowering of the car body raising speed caused by the accumulator 330 turned to be encumbrance.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent bottoming during running on the bad road in such a way that running on the bad road is discriminated when the actual vehicle height exceeds the predetermined discriminating level, and its frequency exceeds the predetermined value, and the vehicle height is automatically controlled at relatively higher position for running on the road. CONSTITUTION:After output from a vehicle height sensor 10 which is installed in reference to each wheel is processed through a filter circuit 20, a comparator 22 and an all-wave rectifier 26, it is transmitted to a comparator 28, and compared with output from an F/V converter 30 in response to the speed through a speed sensor 12, namely with signals in the bad road discriminating level alpha. And after signals in the outputs which exceed said level d of the all-wave rectifier 26 are processed through a wave-form shaping device 32 and an integrator 34, they are transmitted to a comparator 40 in accordance with synchronizing signals from a synchronizing circuit 36. Hereby, it is compared with the bad road discriminating level beta from an F/V converter 42, and when it exceeds this level beta, it is discriminated to be a bad road, then a vehicle height regulator 16 is properly controlled in such a way that signals at the target vehicle height value to raise the vehicle height are given as output through an F/V converter 48.
