CONSTITUTION:A first slider 3 having a read/write core and a second slider 4 which is adjacent to the first slider 3 are provided and the groove 1 provided in parallel to the read/write core 2 is formed between two sliders. A part of the groove part is furthermore planed and it is worked in a form where negative pressure occurs by air flow near the head based on the rotating recording medium. Consequently, absorption force by negative pressure occurs even if the recording medium 9 rotates at high speed. Thus, the contact state of the recording medium and the magnetic heads 7 and 8 can stably be held and the life of the recording medium 9 can be kept long.

    • PURPOSE:To efficiently attenuate a resonance phenomenon caused by a torsional vibration without deteriorating the followup ability for a disk by providing a viscoelastic body at one position of the elastic part of a gimbal to be approximately symmetrical to the circumferential direction of the disk. CONSTITUTION:Viscoelastic bodies are embedded in two parts of the clearance parts between a substrate part 4a and an inner frame part 4b of the gimbal corresponding to the positions diagonal to the circumferential direction of a disk 6 with a head 3 as its center, and these viscoelastic bodies are fixed to the thin side faces of the substrate parts 4a and the inner frame parts 4b. In general, the maximum amplitude at resonance time tends to become smaller as viscous resistance becomes larger. Consequently, the viscous resistance of the torsional vibration can be heightened, and the resonance can be attenuated by embedding the viscoelastic body 1 at the diagonal positions. Thus, the resonance phenomenon caused by the torsional vibration can be efficiently suppressed without deteriorating the followup ability of the head for the disk.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the decrease of a recording magnetic field to occur from the resonance phenomenon of a gimbals and the reduction of the reproducing output by sticking a shielding plate through a viscoelastic substance to the gimbals or a magnetic head. CONSTITUTION:A shielding plate as a headband shield to surround a magnetic head 2 from four corners is stuck through a viscoelastic substance 1 to a gim bals 3. Consequently, by adding the oscillation system of a shielding plate and a viscoelastic substance to the oscillation system of the gimbals 3, the viscosity coefficient of all oscillation systems can be set by the viscoelastic substance 1. The larger the viscosity resistance is, the smaller the maximum amplitude at the time of resonating becomes, and by heightening the viscosity resistance of all oscillation systems, the maximum amplitude at the time of resonating is attenuated. Thus, the decrease of the recording magnetic field and the reduc tion of the reproducing output do not periodically occur, and the performance of a magnetic disk device can be secured.

CONSTITUTION:The pulse interval is measured from the read data RD by a tau2 measurement circuit 11, and when the pulse interval within a prescribed range continues extending over more than prescribed range continues extending over more than prescribed number of pieces, it is detected as a sink field by a sink field detection circuit 12. Thus, the peak shift is suppressed, and reproduction at the time of low resolution comes possible, and the densification can be realized.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a disk device having high reliability at a good yield without the need for regulation work in correspondence to an environment fluctuation and the variation of a disk by setting the boost quantity of a high-pass stressing filter in such a manner that phase error voltage formed by converting the phase error pulse of a PLL to a voltage value is minimized. SOLUTION: After an RF signal 9 is amplified by a preamplifier 1, an AGC and equalizer 2 absorbs an output decrease, removes high-frequency noise and boosts the neighborhood of the high-pass component extremely degraded in amplitude by inter-code interference, thereby executing waveform equalization. This signal is binarized by a slicer 3 and binarized synchronizing data 12 is formed by a clock signal 11 synchronously separated by the PLL 4 and the binarized data 10. The boost quantity of the equalizer 2 is given as a boost voltage 14 by a voltage conversion circuit 5 which converts the UP/DOWN pulse 13 from the PLL 4 to a phase error voltage. As a result, the boots regulation is automatically and rapidly executed by the disk device and the reliability and yield are improved.

By this constitution, since the degradation of durability of the flexible terminal substrate is prevented, dusts are hardly adsorbed and corrected, the inducing of the breakdown of a medium and the generation of an error due to the sticking of dusts to a magnetic heads and the medium can be prevented and the reliability of a product is improved.

CONSTITUTION:The magnetic head is provided with the first slider 4 having a read/write core and the second slider 5 adjacent to the slider 4, and a groove 1 provided in parallel with the magnetic head core is formed between those sliders. The negative pressure generating plate 2a is embedded in the part of the groove 1, and the neighborhood of the read/write gap 9 of the part of the groove 1 in the center part is narrowed for the progressive direction of the recording medium. Therefore, an air flow is generated in the same direction as the progressive direction of the recording medium based on a rotating recording medium. The air flow is squeezed in the neighborhood of the read/write gap 9, and the negative pressure is generated, which attracts the recording medium. The contact state between the magnetic head and the recording medium can be stably held even when the recording medium is rotated at high speed with an attractive force.
