    • PURPOSE:To always perform optimum cleaning by carrying out fuzzy inference for a condition of a floor surface in accordance with a suction pressure of a cleaner and a current running through a brush motor so as to automatically select a suction force of a suction motor and a rotational speed of the brush motor in accordance with the condition of the floor surface. CONSTITUTION:A pressure detecting section 9 converts an output signal from a semiconductor pressure sensor 10 for detecting a suction pressure of a vacuum into a voltage, and amplifies thus converted voltage which is then A/D-converted and is delivered to a microcomputer 4 which computes a pressure amplitude value from the maximum and minimum values of suction pressure for every time interval. Further, a current detecting section 11 converts an output signal from a current sensor 12 composed of a current transducer or the like, into a voltage which is amplified then A/D- converted and delivered to the microcomputer 4 which similarly computes a current amplitude value. Further, fuzzy inference is made for a floor surface index value in accordance with these computed values, and an operation pattern including a suction force of a suction motor 6 and a rotational speed of the brush motor 8 is selected in accordance with the result of the inference so that motors 6, 8 are controlled by motor control sections 5, 7.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to supply air with an air capacity in conformity with persons numbered by installing a detection means which detects the presence of persons and a decision making means which decides an air capacity to be supplied in each direction out of a plurality of previously divided air supply directions. CONSTITUTION:A drive mechanism for a fan comprises a fuzzy control section 10 including a microcomputer, a selection means 11 (human body sensor) which is connected with the fuzzy control section 10 and detects the presence of persons, a fan motor 12 which drives a ventilation fan and an oscillating motor 13 which drives an oscillating mechanism. The fuzzy control section 10 decides the optimum value of an air supply capacity in each zone based on a fuzzy theory where the air supply directions based on an oscillating angle of a fan are previously divided in plurality and drives the fan motor 12 with a control variable responding to the decided amount of air. This construction makes it possible to supply air with an air capacity whose intensity is in conformity with the weight of persons numbered.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the reduction of inductance of the winding of a transformer and a thermal breakdown of the component element of an inverter by controlling to make the temperature of the core of the transformer to compose a part of the inverter less than the preset temperature near the lowest temperature to increase the power loss of the converter. CONSTITUTION:When the temperature of a core 121 is increased extensively by generating a variation of the surrounding temperature ambiance or a shortage of cooling and the like owing to the voltage variation or the motor life, the power loss of a magnetron driving converter 104 is increased, the anode current is reduced, and the output of the secondary current return device 111 is also reduced. As a result, a starting time width control circuit 14 is going to adopt a larger W1s rapidly, but since the detected voltage of a temperature detecting device 112 is increased, a comparison circuit 17 outputs a subtraction signal, and the ON-time width output from an ON-time width control circuit 13 is suppressed. Consequently, the ON-pulse width is suppressed, the temperature rise of the magnetron driving converter 104 is also suppressed, and the tendency of a reckless heating can be prevented.
