    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To see that short-circuiting of an arm part does not occur, and to dispense with the dead time, and prevent the occurrence of the waveform distortion of the output voltage and occurrence of voltage decrease, by connecting two circuits of arm parts to which the primary windings of a transformer are connected, in parallel to switching elements, and getting output voltage from the secondary winding of a transformer. SOLUTION: When the first and second switching elements Se and Sr are turned on, the voltages Nb and Vf which are opposite in polarity and equal in voltage with each other are generated in the first and second windings Pa and Pb, and the voltage Vo of the third winding is not outputted. Next, when the first switching Se is turned on and the second switching Sr is turned off, the voltage Ve equal to the voltage of a DC power source is generated in the first winding Pa, and it outputs positive half wave pulse waveform to the voltage Vo of the third winding. Moreover, when the first switching element Se is turned off and the second switching element Sf is turned on, the voltage FR equal to the voltage Eo of the DC power source and opposite in polarity to the voltage Ve is generated in the second winding Pb, and it outputs the negative half wave pulse waveform to the third winding voltage Vo.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a DC overvoltage which is generated when active power flows in during the transitional period of the interconnection of an inverter to a power system by setting a mode in which active power is outputted from the inverter during the transitional period by advancing the phase of the output voltage of the inverter when the inverter is interconnected to a power system by a specific amount against a system voltage. SOLUTION: A multiplier 12 generates an control signal VE which controls the active power of an inverter by multiplying the sum signal gE(gE or gE+gC) of the output signal gE of a DC voltage control circuit 11 and a phase bias signal GC by a phase signal VS obtained by delaying the phase of a system voltage VS by 90 deg. by means of a phase shifter 13. Since the phase bias signal g. is added. the inverter always operates from a state where the inverter is advanced from the output voltage VS of the inverter at the interconnecting time when the inverter is interconnected to a power system. Therefore, the generation of a DC overvoltage from the inverter is prevented during the transitional period of the interconnection, because the inverter is set to a mode in which the inverter outputs active power and suppresses the flowing in of active power.

    • PURPOSE: To suppress the inrush current flowing into a transformer connected to the output side at the time of starting an inverter by comparing a reference sine wave signal subjected to phase regulation with a zero potential to produce a phase regulated gate signal. CONSTITUTION: One of two reference sine wave signals Q1 , Q2 for setting the ON-OFF timing of each switching element S1 -S4 in an inverter is subjected to amplitude regulation and added to the other before being subjected to phase regulation. The reference sine wave signals Q1 ', Q2 ' are then compared with a zero potential to produce phase regulated gate signals G1 ', G2 '. Consequently, the effective value of output voltage from the inverter can be regulated through phase regulation of gate signals G1 , G2 . In particular, inrush current flowing into a transformer on the output side of the inverter can be suppressed at the time of starting the inverter by decreasing the gain of the reference sine wave signals Q1 , Q2 for regulating the amplitude gradually thereby increasing the effective value of output voltage from the inverter.

    • PURPOSE: To obtain the self-excited reactive power compensation device of inverter specifications which is simple in control circuit constitution and reducible in the cost and has high reliability. CONSTITUTION: System phase voltages VR, VS, and VT and load currents iR, iS, and iT of a three-phase system bus are multiplied and added to find three- phase active power P, from which a low-pass filter(LPF) 9 finds a DC signal P' corresponding to fundamental wave balanced active power as a three-phase balanced component. On the other hand, sine wave signals SR, SS, and ST which are synchronized with the three-phase system phase voltages VR, VS, and VT and have unit amplitudes balanced are found by a phase-locked loop(PLL) 10 and a sine wave generating circuit 11 from the three-phase system voltages, and multiplied by a gain K found from the DC signal P', phase by phase, to find balanced active current components iRP, iSP, and iTP which are in phase with one another, and those are subtracted from the load currents iR, iS, and iT of the respective phases to detect compensating current command values iRC, iSC, and iTC.

    • PURPOSE:To enhance response in the output control by adding a valid current command signal to an invalid current command signal to produce an output current command signal. CONSTITUTION:In the upper control circuit, the voltage Vs of a system power supply 3 is taken into a bandpass filter BPF 13 which feeds a harmonic-free power supply voltage signal Vs' to a multiplier 14 which also receives a control signal PK, being set by a valid power control signal system 15, to produce a valid current command signal Ipref of the same phase. In the lower control circuit, the harmonic-free power supply voltage signal Vs' is taken into a 90 deg. phase shifter 16 which delivers a 90 deg. phase shifted power supply voltage signal Vs'' to a multiplier 17 which also receives a control signal QK, being set by an invalid power control signal system 18, to produce an invalid power command signal Iqref. The valid and invalid current command signals are added by an adder 19 to produce an output current command signal Isref. This constitution quickens response in the output control without causing interference when any one signal is varied.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent excessive increase of DC capacitor charging voltage by suppressing the amplitude of a reference voltage determining the waveform of output voltage when the level of current flowing from an inverter into the DC capacitor in the charging direction exceeds a predetermined level. CONSTITUTION:A voltage corresponding to the DC component of current on DC side of an inverter detected through a current detector appears on the output side of a lowpass filter 11 and compared with a set value by means of a comparator 14. When it is lower than the set value, an analog switch 13 is turned OFF. 1pu voltages are applied through a subtractor 15 onto one input terminals of multipliers 16-18 having the other input terminals to be applied with reference voltages VA, VB, VC for respective phases which are outputted while being multiplied by 1. The analog switch 13 is turned ON when the voltage corresponding to DC component of current on DC side of inverter detected through the current detector exceeds the set value.
