    • PURPOSE: To maintain and regenerate an ecology system at the coast by forming water storage space inside a revetment wall, further forming feedwater holes through the wall at many vertical levels in such a state as communicated to the front thereof, and keeping the beach in a wet condition with seawater discharged from the space at the time of the occurrence of the lowest tidal level. CONSTITUTION: Water storage space 3 is provided at the inside of a concrete revetment wall 1, and a plurality of feedwater holes 4 are drilled through the wall 1 at many vertical levels, so as to be communicated to the front thereof. Also, the upper section (ceiling) of the space 3 is set to be higher than the highest tidal level HHW, and the uppermost section thereof is provided with a vent hole. Furthermore, seawater is contained in the space 3 at the opportunity of a high tide. When the beach 2 is exposed above the sea level at the time of an ebb tide, seawater contained in the space 3 is gradually discharged to keep the beach 2 in a wet condition, thereby preventing the remarkable temperature change thereof. In this case, stone or the like may be placed in the space 3 for facilitating the purification of water quality via the ingress and egress of seawater. Thus, the habitable environment for organisms can be maintained, regenerated or restored.

    • PURPOSE: To massively multiply the subject algae used for greening the surface of a structure by aeration-stirring the suspension of adhesive fine algae to scatter splashes, adhering the scattered splashes to carriers held in the scattering area, simultaneously irradiating the adhered algae with light, and subsequently peeling and recovering the multiplied algae. CONSTITUTION: Adhesive fine algae 10 are suspended in a culture liquid 14, and the prepared suspension 2 is stored in a culture tank 1 having a smooth inner surface 1a. The suspension 2 is aeration-stirred with an air-bubbling means 16 comprising an air bubble-generating opening 5, a compressor 8 and a communicating air pipe 7 between them which are disposed on the bottom surface of the culture tank 1. The splashes 6 of the suspension 2 are thus scattered. Carriers 4 having smooth surfaces, respectively, are held in the scattering area of the suspension splashes 6 with a holding means 9 to adhere the suspension plashes 6 to the surfaces of the carriers 4, and light is simultaneously irradiated on the suspension 2 and the surfaces of the carriers 4 with an illumination means 11. The adhesive fine algae 10 thus multiplied on the surfaces of the carriers 4 are peeled and recovered before fixed to the surfaces of the carriers 4. Thus, the objective adhesive fine algae used for greening the surfaces of the structures are massively cultured.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a method and apparatus for the collection, sealing and preservation of microorganisms capable of sealing and preserving the microorganisms in a state suitable for the observation of the form simultaneously with the collection of the microorganisms. CONSTITUTION:A collection tape 3 having a tacky face is wound on the outer circumference of a 1st roller 1 facing the tacky face outward. Separately, a covering tape 7 is wound on the outer circumference of a 2nd roller 2a and the outer circumference of the 2nd roller 2a is placed close to the outer circumference of the 1st roller 1 leaving a small gap therebetween. The 1st roller 1 is rotated while contacting the tacky face of the collection tape 3 with a living surface 5 of microorganisms to collect the microorganisms 10 on the tacky face. The collection tape 3 is laminated with the covering tape 7 at the part of the small gap according to the rotation of the 1st roller 1 and both tapes 3, 7 are brought into close contact with each other at the part around the collected microorganisms to preserve the collected microorganisms 10 in a state sealed between the tapes 3, 7.
