摘要： PURPOSE:To improve lubricating performance of the engaging part of a governor weight by communicating the inlet of a blowby gas guide passage, formed in a governor shaft, to a governor chamber in a state that the inlet fronts on the governor weight, and communicating the outlet of the blowby guide passage to a blowby gas exhausting part. CONSTITUTION:The flange 4 of a governor shaft 3 is engaged with the engaging part 6 of a governor weight 5 and a governor force 8 is transmitted from the governor weight 5 to a governor lever 7 through a governor shaft 3. In which case, a governor chamber 9 is communicated to a crank chamber 10 and the inlet 12 of a blowby gas guide passage 11 formed in the governor shaft 3 is communicated to the governor chamber 9 in a state that it fronts on the governor weight 5, and the outlet 13 of the blowby gas guide passage 11 is communicated to a blowby gas exhaust part 14. This constitution causes improvement of lubricating ability of the engaging part 6 even when an amount of contact of blowby gas with the engaging part 6 is increased and prevents the occurrence of seizure between the engaging part 6 and the flange 4 even when an engine is run at a high speed for a long time.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce engine oscillation and piston slap sound and to miniaturize a pin boss member. SOLUTION: A piston 1 is constituted of a piston main body 2 and a pin boss member 3. The pin boss member 3 is made of an aluminium alloy material. A reinforcing member 10 is fastened on a lower peripheral part of a boss thickness wall 9 of the pin boss member 3. This reinforcing member 10 is made of an iron material which is larger in tensile strength and flexural strength than the aluminium alloy material of the pin boss member 3. Kinetic inertial force decreases by the amount weight of the pin boss member 3 is reduced, and engine oscillation and piston lap sound is reduced. It is possible to miniaturize the pin boss member 3 by reducing thickness of a lower peripheral part of the boss thickness wall 9 by the amount the flexural strength and the tensile strength working on the lower peripheral part of the boss thickness wall 9 is absorbed by the reinforcing member 10.

SOLUTION: In an aluminum alloy-made piston 1 comprising a piston main body 2 and a pin boss member 3 in an internal combustion engine, the pin boss member 3 has an upper end surface 23 pressed to a crown part 4 from below and an upper part peripheral surface 24 positioned and fitted to the inner peripheral surface 19 of a ring land part 5, and then four portions in the circumferential direction of the member 3 are fixed by fixing means 7 comprising a bolt 11 and a flanged 26 nut 12. At this time, a screw axial tension bearing surface 16 is formed on the lower end of the hole periphery wall 18 of the periphery of a bolt passing hole 15 of the pin boss member 3, the nut 12 is pressed to the bearing surface 16, and the head 11a of the bolt 11 is pressed to the hole bottom 17 of a cave-in hole 13. The bolt 11 and the nut 12 are made of stainless steel.

CONSTITUTION: A two-division type bearing box 11 is assembled to the intermediate journal of a crank shaft and a bearing box 11 is securely fitted in internally of a support hole 11 in such a way that the crankshaft is inserted through one side in a longitudinal direction of a crankcase 2 into the support hole 22 of a bearing wall 21, and the intermediate journal of the crankshaft is pivotally supported at the bearing box 11. The swing radius of the crank shaft is set to a value higher than the inside diameter of the support hole 22 and one set of lightening recessed parts 23 and 23 are formed in the support hole 22 of the bearing wall 21 and passage through one set of crank arm tip parts 8c and 8c after passage through the lightening recessed parts 23 and 23 is practicable.

According to this construction, water stagnating in the chamber 2 can be quickly discharged outside, due to the existence of the drain hole 6 in the chamber 2, and the ingress of water into the passage 4 can be prevented. Also, the cylinder 7 of the chamber 2 is projected upward and reduced in diameter, compared with the passage 4, thereby reducing a new charge noise.

The governor lever is arranged so as to be led outward to the lateral side of the fuel injection pump 7.
