    • PURPOSE: To assemble upper and lower bearings with a degree of alignment with ultrahigh accuracy by contacting a hub reference face and a housing reference face and making an axial center in this case coincident with bearing center of an other housing.
      CONSTITUTION: A shaft 21 fixed with a hub 26, a bearing 28 and a pre-load spring 29 are mounted in one housing 15 and the hub 26 is moved axially by the operation of the spring 29. Through the operation above, the axial direction reference face 36 of the hub 26 and the housing reference face 35 finished with the squareness of 0.005mm to the lower bearing mating part are contacted. The shaft center of the shaft 21 is taken as a reference and not moved, and the center of the bearing 19 of the upper housing 16 is made coincident to the center of the shaft 21 and then assembled. Thus, the alignment of the upper/ lower bearings is improved from 0.06mm (conventional value) to a value as highly accurate as ≥0.01mm for the assembling.
