SOLUTION: At the time of single execution of hot water supply, hot water supply request heating value G0 is operated based on the information of flow rate of water flowing through a hot water supply piping, temperature of water flowing toward a heat exchanging section and set temperature and a feedforward output component I0 is operated from the hot water supply request heating value and a stored data. At the time of simultaneous execution of hot water supply and extra firing, a temporary feedforward output component I0 is operated similarly. Furthermore, a correction amount ΔI is operated based on the bathtub water temperature and circulation flow rate and added to the temporary feedforward output component I0 thus determining a feedforward output component I1 . Function of the correction amount ΔI is corrected based on the information containing the feedforward output component at the time of simultaneous execution of hot water supply and extra firing.

SOLUTION: A control section stores data indicative of the linear relationship between heat consumption for hot water supply and current supply to a proportional valve (hereinafter referred to proportional valve current) in the form of map or operational equation (linear equation). A required heat consumption for hot water supply is operated based on a supply water temperature, a set temperature and delivery hot water temperature and then a corresponding proportional valve current is determined. The heat consumption for hot water supply is set with a lower limit GMIN. When an operated heat consumption for hot water supply is lower than the lower limit GMIN, the proportional valve current is fixed at a level corresponding to the lower limit GMIN. Consequently, actual heat consumption for hot water supply exceeds the operated value and the delivery hot water temperature exceeds a set level, but dew formation at the heat exchanging section can be prevented.

Since heat of the heat exchanger 2 is absorbed not only to the heat exchanger 3 but by the leakage hot water upon occurrence of hot water leakage, a hot water leakage signal is delivered when the maximum circulation flow rate is exceeded.
