    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical memory manufacturing method capable of improving productivity and a yield. SOLUTION: The optical memory manufacturing method includes a laminating step, a joining step and a cutting step. In the laminating step, the prescribed number of core layers 13 and and clad layers 14 are alternately laminated between two resin films 15a and 15b, and an uneven surface part for information reproduction is formed on the top surface of the clad layers to form units 11. In the joining step, the units 11 are stacked vertically and joined by laser welding through a light absorbing resin layer 24 to form a unit stacked body 11a. In the cutting step, a laser light source 30 emits laser beams 30a to the unit stacked body 11a mounted on an XY stage 29, and laser cutting is applied to the unit stacked body 11a along cut lines 28 to cut out optical memories including an information area 23 in prescribed size.
