摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sewing machine in which a holder part between a bed part and an arm part is constituted so as to be covered at least, which is used as an auxiliary table for expanding a bed plante and provided with a sewing machine cover incorporated with a driving mechanism for driving an embroidery frame, and by which lateral and longitudinal driving mechanisms can be respectively stopped at prescribed housing positions at the time of embroidery sewing end or stop. SOLUTION: A sewing cover 2 is composed of a main body 7 of cover and a divided cover 8, a lateral driving mechanism 60 for laterally driving the embroidery frame is integrated into the main body 7 of frame, a notched opening 35 to be engaged with an engage part 11 of bed part 3 is formed on a wall 31, a longitudinal driving mechanism 80 for longitudinally driving the embroidery frame is integrated into the divided cover 8, and a housing control means is provided for controlling both the lateral driving mechanism 60 an the longitudinal driving mechanism 80 so as to respectively stop both the driving mechanisms at the prescribed housing positions at the time of embroidery sewing end or stop in the case of embroidery sewing with the sewing cover 2 as the auxiliary table.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of members and to reduce a manufacture cost by using a sewing machine cover opened to a stud part side capable of covering a pocket part between a bed part and an arm part as an auxiliary table for extending a bed surface and incorporating an embroidery frame driving mechanism in the sewing machine cover. SOLUTION: The sewing machine cover 2 is constituted of a cover main body 7 and a division cover 8, and in the case of detaching it from the cover state of mainly covering the arm 5 of this dewing machine 1, both front and back surfaces, a left side face and an upper surface are covered from a part near the bed surface 12 of the bed part 3 to the upper surface of the arm part 3 and it is formed so as to be used also as the auxiliary table for extending the bed surface. Then, for the sewing machine cover 2, a left and right driving mechanism is disposed to the front wall side of the cover main body 7 and a front and back driving mechanism is disposed inside the division cover 8 respectively so as to drive an embroidery frame disposed on it in left, right, front and back directions in the case of using it as the auxiliary table and embroidery sewing is performed to work clock held by the embroidery frame.
