摘要： PURPOSE:To improve the safety at the parking or stopping, by operating each brake for the tractor and the trailer at the intermediate operational position of a hand control valve while operating only the tractor brake at the complete operational position. CONSTITUTION:When the operational handle 40 of a brake control valve 2 is at the non-operational position or the intermediate operational position, the cam face 110 of a projection 100 provided at the base 50 of the handle 40 will not engage with the plunger 106 of the valve device 48. Since the pressurized air from each exits 20, 22 is exhausted through the exhaust port 38 and depressurized, the tractor brake will function through the tractor brake 28 and the service line 32. While when the handle 40 is at the complete operational position, said cam face 110 will engage with the plunger 106 to to push it down, thus to close the seat valves 112, 122 while to open the seat valves 122, 124. Consequently the exit 22 is conducted through the path 22 and the inlet 18 to the air tank thus to function the tractor brake 28, but the trailer brake will not function because of the blocking of the service line 32.
