CONSTITUTION:A fitting body 1 is formed with male threads 11 adapted to be engaged with a cap nut 2, threads 16 adapted to be connected with an equipment or a thread fitting, a recess 14 at the end face side of the threads 11, and a cylindrical member 12 having a protrusion 13 with an armored outer surface, adjacent to the recess 14. After an annular thin resin thin planar member 3 having an L-like sectional shape is fitted in the recess 14 of the fitting body 1, a connection pipe 4 is fitted on the fitting body 1. At this time, the planar member 3 is pressed by the end face of the connection pipe 4 so that it is deformed along an inclined inner wall of the recess 14, and accordingly, the outer diameter of the planar member 3 is made to be smaller than the outer diameter of the male threads 11. Accordingly, it is possible to confirm such a condition that the connection pipe 4 is inserted by a regulated depth. Thereafter, the cap nut 2 is screwed onto the male threads 11 so as to complete the connection of the connection pipe 11.
