    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust emission control device securely preventing water immersion into an exhaust gas postprocessing system, such as a catalyst, a soot filter, and improving durability of the exhaust gas postprocessing system.
      SOLUTION: The exhaust emission control device comprises the soot filter 41 for purifying exhaust gas and a case body which stores the soot filter 41 and is equipped with an outlet pipe 51 for letting out the exhaust gas processed by the soot filter 41. A blocking plate 21 for preventing water immersion to the soot filter 41 side is provided between the soot filter 41 and a side wall 6 arranged on the downstream side of the soot filter 41. Accordingly, water entering from the outlet pipe 51 of the case body can be blocked by the blocking plate 21 for preventing the water immersion into the soot filter 41.
